  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: On base four times in loss

Bichette went 3-for-3 with a walk and a double in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox.

The shortstop did everything he could to generate some offense for the Blue Jays while batting second in the order, but three double plays by the ChiSox helped erase Bichette from the basepaths in a 2-1 loss. He's hit safely in six straight games, and over his last 17 contests, Bichette is slashing .309/.347/.456 with four doubles, two homers, seven runs and eight RBI.

  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Homers in win

Bichette went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Angels.

Bichette's solo home run in the fourth inning marked his 100th hit of the season, and he later came around to score the game-winning run in the sixth. The shortstop has now hit safely in three straight starts since returning from a sore right knee and has logged at least one hit in 11 of his past 13 contests. For the season, he's slashing .270/.310/.427 with 12 homers, 51 RBI, 41 runs scored and four steals across 394 plate appearances.

  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Back in lineup Friday

Bichette (knee) is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Angels.

The shortstop stepped on a ball during batting practice Monday and missed almost the entire four-game set against the Yankees, though Bichette appeared off the bench Thursday, going 0-for-1. Now that he's feeling well enough to return to the lineup, Bichette will look to put the finishing touches on a resurgent first half in which he's slashed .272/.311/.426 with 11 homers and four steals over 380 plate appearances.

  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Absent from lineup again Thursday

Bichette (knee) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Yankees.

Bichette tweaked his right knee when he stepped on a ball during batting practice prior to Monday's game versus the Yankees, and he will wind up being out of the lineup for all four games of the series. Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that Bichette should be available off the bench, however, and it's "very realistic" the shortstop will be back in the lineup for Friday's game versus the Angels, per Mitch Bannon of The Athletic. Ernie Clement will again handle shortstop, while Will Wagner will be to Clement's right at third base.

  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Out of lineup, but improving

Bichette (knee) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees, but Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that the shortstop is "feeling better than he did" Tuesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports. "Hes going through a little bit more of a regular day, and the hope would be that he'd be available [off the bench] if we need him," Schneider said.

Bichette will miss out on a third consecutive start while he continues to tend to a sore right knee, but the 27-year-old appears to be trending in a positive direction and still looks on track to avoid a stint on the injured list. Ernie Clement will step in at shortstop Wednesday, but if Bichette checks out fine after his pregame workout, he could be available as a pinch hitter off the bench.

  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Remains out Tuesday

Bichette (knee) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Yankees.

Bichette was a late scratch from the lineup ahead of Monday's 5-4 win after tweaking his right knee when he stepped on a baseball during batting practice. He'll miss a second straight start Tuesday and is considered day-to-day. Leo Jimenez will start at shortstop and bat ninth for the Blue Jays.

  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Considered day-to-day

Manager John Schneider said after Monday's 5-4 win over the Yankees that Bichette (knee) is day-to-day and isn't expected to undergo any additional testing, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Bichette stepped on a baseball in pregame warmups and was scratched from the lineup after initially being penciled in as the Blue Jays' leadoff hitter for Monday's contest. Ernie Clement moved over to shortstop and hit leadoff in his absence. Bichette should have a chance to play Tuesday.

  • Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Scratched Monday with sore knee

Bichette was scratched from Monday's lineup against the Yankees due to right knee discomfort, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Bichette exited the field during the middle of his batting practice round Monday when his knee started barking. The Blue Jays should have clarity on his status after the game. Ernie Clement will slide over to shortstop to cover for Bichette.

Bichette went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-1 win over the White Sox.
