Guardians' Travis Bazzana: Scores twice in win
Bazzana went 0-for-3 with a walk, a steal and two runs scored in Sunday's 5-2 win over Miami. He was also hit by pitch.
Bazzana got the Guardians on the board quickly, leading off the first inning with a walk, a stolen base and then scoring on a Brayan Rocchio single. The Aussie later scored after getting hit by a pitch. The stolen base was his 13th of the season but first in 17 contests. Bazzana, who will play in Tuesday's All-Star Game, limps into the break, having gone 10-for-69 (.145) with one steal, four RBI, three doubles and six runs scored over his last 17 games.

Guardians' Kahlil Watson: Threat on basepaths
Watson went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Marlins.
Watson's bat has gone quiet of late, but the rookie made the most of the limited times he's reached base. The outfielder is 4-for-29 with one walk over his last eight contests but swiped six bases during that stretch. Watson, who stole 14 bases over 56 games at Triple-A Columbus before joining the Guardians, had double-digit steals over the previous four seasons in the minors.

Guardians' Joey Oakie: Shelved at Single-A
Single-A Hill City placed Oakie on its 7-day injured list Wednesday due to a viral illness.
Oakie hadn't pitched for Hill City since June 24 before the club deactivated him two weeks later. The young righty is regarded as one of the Guardians' better lower-level pitching prospects but has struggled to a 7.15 ERA, 1.95 WHIP and 56:42 K:BB over 45.1 innings with Hill City this season.

Guardians' Chase DeLauter: Homers late during win
DeLauter went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Marlins.
DeLauter provided Cleveland with an insurance run in the ninth inning, taking Pete Fairbanks deep for his 11th home run of the season. The outfielder has caught fire since returning from the injured list June 28, batting .339 with seven multi-hit performances across 14 games. DeLauter has homered four times over his last seven contests to close out the first half of the season.

Guardians' Brayan Rocchio: Launches eighth home run
Rocchio went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Marlins.
After collecting an RBI single to open the scoring in his first plate appearance, Rocchio extended Cleveland's lead in the fifth inning by taking Michael Petersen deep for his eighth home run of the season. The long ball matched his career high from 2024, but he has reached the mark in 50 fewer games this time around. The shortstop has been hot lately, batting .317 with three home runs and 10 RBI over his last 11 games.

Guardians' Joey Cantillo: Fans nine in eighth win
Cantillo (8-4) earned the win Sunday against the Marlins, allowing one run on six hits and two walks while striking out nine over five innings.
Cantillo threw 57 of his 85 pitches for strikes, generating an outstanding 20 whiffs on 40 swings, and recorded multiple strikeouts in four of his five innings. He navigated around trouble early, loading the bases in the second inning before striking out a pair to escape the jam. The right-hander allowed his lone run in the third but stranded two more runners to stop the bleeding. The 26-year-old heads into the All-Star break in excellent form, posting a 1.59 ERA over his last six starts, including three outings with nine strikeouts.

Guardians' Aaron Walton: Moving up to Double-A
Walton was promoted to Double-A Akron on Sunday.
Walton will make the leap to the Double-A level after compiling a .275 average with 15 home runs, 55 RBI, 68 runs scored and 21 stolen bases over 302 at-bats in 79 contests with High-A Lake County so far this season. The 22-year-old was selected 66th overall in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft, and he has lived up to the selection to this point.

Guardians' Daniel Schneemann: Sitting against righty again
Schneemann is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
Schneemann will hit the bench against another right-handed starting pitcher in Tyler Phillips. The Guardians have openings in the everyday lineup while Jose Ramirez (hand) and Angel Martinez (foot) are on the IL, but Schneemann hasn't done much to claim one, slashing .161/.198/.253 with a 29.7 percent strikeout rate since the start of June. Gabriel Arias appears to have gained traction at third base, and over the last two games, Petey Halpin has drawn starts over Schneemann in the outfield alongside Steven Kwan and Kahlil Watson.

Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Three hits, two steals vs. Miami
Arias went 3-for-4 with three singles, two steals and a run scored during the Guardians' 4-1 win over the Marlins on Saturday.
Arias set a season high with three hits Saturday and is now up to three steals on the season following his two swipes against the Marlins. He continues to see regular playing time at the hot corner, but that should change once Jose Ramirez (hand) returns from the injured list, with the latter targeting a return shortly after the All-Star break. Arias has a .712 OPS with 10 RBI and seven extra-base hits across 93 plate appearances this season.

Guardians' Colin Holderman: Collects first save of 2026
Holderman earned the save in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Marlins, tossing a scoreless ninth inning.
Cade Smith was dispatched in each of the Guardians' three games prior to Saturday, so Holderman was called on to protect Cleveland's 4-1 lead. Holderman needed only 11 pitches (eight strikes) to get the job done for his first save of the season and fourth save of his major-league career. He has a 1.78 ERA and 0.85 WHIP over 35.1 innings this season.

Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Quality start against Miami
Bibee (3-9) earned the win against the Marlins on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and four walks while striking out three across 6.2 innings.
Bibee allowed two baserunners in both the first and third innings, but he managed to keep the Marlins off the board through six frames. He was brought back out for the seventh and was tagged with a run on a Liam Hicks single, but it was the only run that Bibee and the Guardians' bullpen allowed in Saturday's win. It was Bibee's first win since June 12 and his 11th quality start of the season, three of which have come over his last four outings. He'll enter the All-Star break with a 3.90 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 87:34 K:BB across 113 innings this season.

Guardians' Kade Lewis: Picked by Cleveland
The Guardians selected Lewis with the No. 123 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
Lewis split his collegiate career between Butler and Wake Forest, and he hit at both stops with a .369/.455/.604 slash line, 34 homers and 14 steals in 172 career games. He has some pop but isn't likely to provide elite power or speed, with the power potentially being an issue since he's likely to be limited to first base.

Guardians' Tre Broussard: Top 100 overall pick by Cleveland
The Guardians selected Broussard with the No. 95 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
One of the youngest players from the college class, Broussard offers more tools and projection than the typical college outfielder. The lefty-hitting 20-year-old boasts plus-plus speed and stole 56 bases in 98 games in two years at Houston. He slashed .344/.433/.472 with three home runs, a 13.3 percent walk rate and a 15.8 percent strikeout rate this spring. His hit tool translated with a wood bat in the Cape Cod League last summer, as he hit .296 with a .363 OBP, although his lack of game power was also present (zero homers). Even so, Broussard hits the ball harder than his homer totals indicate, and there could be untapped potential in that department.
