Phillies' Weston Wilson: Leaves with migraine
Wilson was removed from Wednesday's game against the Rockies due to a migraine, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Wilson went 0-for-1 with a walk before coming out of the game in the fourth inning. The 30-year-old outfielder has turned in a .762 OPS while working in the short side of a platoon in left field, and he shouldn't require an extended absence.

Phillies' Jesus Luzardo: Strikes out 10 in win
Luzardo (5-0) got the win over the Rockies on Tuesday, allowing one run on two hits and three walks while striking out 10 in six innings.
Luzardo continues to dominate in a Phillies uniform, as he posted his sixth straight start of at least five innings while allowing two runs or fewer. Two hits allowed tied his fewest in a start this season and it was the first time he's recorded double-digit punchouts since he struck out 11 in his season debut. Luzardo's 1.95 ERA is currently eighth lowest in baseball and he is one of 16 starting pitchers with a K/9 over 10. Luzardo lines up to complete a two-start week against the Athletics this weekend.

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Stays hot with three hits
Harper went 3-for-5 with two RBI, two doubles and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rockies.
Harper extended his hitting streak to five games, collecting multiple knocks for the fourth time during that stretch. Over his last 15 contests, the All-Star first baseman is batting a scorching .368 (21-for-57) with two homers, six doubles, 14 RBI and nine runs scored. Harper now has 13 multi-hit efforts in 2025.

Phillies' Wil Crowe: Signs minor-league deal with PHI
Crowe and the Phillies agreed on a minor-league contract Tuesday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Crowe will return to affiliated baseball after spending 2024 with the Kia Tigers of the KBO, posting a 3.57 ERA and 1.31 WHIP with 43 strikeouts over 40.1 innings in eight starts. The right-hander will transition back into being a relief pitcher with the Phillies. Crowe last appeared in MLB in 2023, surrendering five earned runs while compiling nine strikeouts over 9.2 innings in five appearances out of the Pirates' bullpen. The 30-year-old will look to get into a groove with Triple-A Lehigh Valley before potentially earning a promotion to Philadelphia's major-league roster down the road this year.

Phillies' Lucas Sims: Goes to Phillies on MiLB pact
The Phillies signed Sims to a minor-league contract Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Sims was released by the Nationals earlier this month after collecting an unsightly 13.86 ERA and 2.27 WHIP through 12.1 innings. The 31-year-old reliever posted a 29.9 percent strikeout rate from 2019 to 2024, so the Phillies will see if they can coax more out of Sims.

Phillies' Devin Saltiban: Shut down at High-A
High-A Jersey Shore placed Saltiban on its 7-day injured list May 8 due to an unspecified injury.
The toolsy infielder had produced a .190/.268/.320 batting line to go with two home runs and seven stolen bases in 25 games with Jersey Shore before being shelved earlier this month. Saltiban is without a clear timeline to return to action for the High-A club.

Phillies' Eiberson Castellano: Shelved at Double-A
Double-A Reading placed Castellano on its 7-day injured list May 4 due to an unspecified injury.
A Rule 5 selection by the Twins in December, Castellano was returned to the Phillies after Minnesota was unwilling to include the 24-year-old righty on its Opening Day roster coming out of spring training. Castellano began the season in Reading, where he posted a 3.60 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 16:2 K:BB in 15 innings while working in a swingman role before he was shut down with the injury.

Phillies' Trea Turner: Stays hot in rout
Turner went 3-for-5 with two RBI, a double, a triple and a run scored in Monday's 9-3 victory over the Rockies.
It was notably Turner's second triple in his past four outings, and he now has 15 multi-hit games on the season. The All-Star shortstop has been sizzling at the dish over his last 21 contests, a stretch where he's batting .359 (33-for-92) with one home run, four doubles and 10 RBI to go with 17 runs scored and four stolen bases. Turner is tied for fourth in the National League with 56 hits overall in 2025.

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Belts two-run homer in win
Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-3 victory versus the Rockies on Monday.
Bohm's long ball was a big one, as he belted a two-run shot in the eighth inning to give the Phillies their first lead. It was just the third homer of the season for the third baseman but his second over his past five contests. Bohm has been swinging a hot stick throughout May, batting .339 with the two homers, eight RBI and seven runs through 16 games.

Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Racks up four hits Monday
Sosa went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run against the Rockies in a 9-3 win Monday.
Sosa singled three times in his first four plate appearances and capped his big day with a two-run blast to left field in the ninth inning. The long ball was his first of the campaign. While Sosa hadn't displayed much power until Monday, he's been plenty productive when given the opportunity, as he's slashing .386/.419/.526 through 57 plate appearances.

Phillies' Kyle Schwarber: Launches 300th career homer
Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in a 9-3 win against Colorado on Monday.
The 300th regular-season home run of Schwarber's career wasn't a cheapie -- he pounded a 466-foot rocket to right field in the ninth inning. The slugger became the 11th active player with 300 or more home runs and pushed his season total to 16, second-most in the majors. Schwarber's career high for long balls in a campaign is 47 (set in 2023), and he's on pace to challenge that mark so far this year.

Phillies' Cristopher Sanchez: Posts third straight quality start
Sanchez allowed three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over six innings in a no-decision against Colorado on Monday.
Sanchez fell behind early when he gave up a solo homer to Ezequiel Tovar in the first inning, but he surrendered just two runs the rest of the way to finish with his third consecutive quality start. The southpaw recorded 10 whiffs and threw 63 of 89 pitches for strikes while issuing zero walks for the first time this season. Sanchez has been quite effective on the campaign, posting a 3.10 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 59:17 K:BB through 49.1 frames. He's tentatively scheduled to make his next start on the road against the Athletics.

Phillies' Max Lazar: Gets big-league call-up
The Phillies recalled Lazar from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday.
Lazar will join the big club for the first time all season and will take the 26-man active roster spot of right-hander Mick Abel, who was optioned to Triple-A after making a spot start for the Phillies in Sunday's win over the Pirates. Though the back end of the Philadelphia bullpen lost a notable piece after lefty Jose Alvarado was handed an 80-game suspension Sunday, Lazar is unlikely to factor into the mix for saves. He'll presumably work in middle relief initially after he turned in a 3.12 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB in 17.1 innings with Lehigh Valley to earn the call to Philadelphia.
