Westbrook generated 23 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 35 minutes in Wednesday's 121-116 win over Golden State.
Westbrook, the NBA's all-time leader in triple-doubles, added another tally to his total Wednesday. Westbrook's 16 rebounds were his most since May of 2021. The veteran guard has offered a major boost to the Kings' starting lineup while Keegan Murray (thumb) has been sidelined. In his last six games, Westbrook is averaging 17.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.7 steals across 32.1 minutes.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Delivers another double-double
Westbrook finished with 26 points (10-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 37 minutes during Monday's 130-124 loss to the Nuggets.
Westbrook turned back the clock Monday by posting his best all-around showing of the young season. He notched his second straight double-double, this time by grabbing double-digit boards after dishing out 10 assists in his previous appearance Saturday in Milwaukee. Kings' Russell Westbrook: Starting vs. Denver
Westbrook will start in Monday's game against the Nuggets, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
After coming off the bench in Saturday's win over Milwaukee, Westbrook will get the starting nod against one of his former teams. Over six regular-season appearances (two starts), the 36-year-old has averaged 11.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.0 minutes per contest.

Russell Westbrook: Agrees to deal with Kings
Westbrook (hand) and the Kings agreed to a contract Wednesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
After months of being linked to the Kings, the two sides finally reached an agreement Wednesday. Charania notes that Westbrook has bonds with Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, and the front office has long admired the veteran point guard. Westbrook, who recently recovered from a right hand surgery, is now positioned to become the backup point guard behind Dennis Schroder in Sacramento. Per NBA reporter Chris Haynes, Westbrook agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal.
