Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Leads all scorers in comeback win
Gilgeous-Alexander had 31 points (10-26 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 9-9 FT), four rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 40 minutes during Thursday's 114-108 win over Memphis in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Despite a slow start, Gilgeous-Alexander once again helped propel the Thunder to victory, this time coming from 29 points behind during the second quarter. It was the second-largest playoff comeback since 1997, with Gilgeous-Alexander again flaunting his MVP credentials. Oklahoma City will look to wrap things up when the two teams meet again in Memphis on Saturday.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Game-high 27 points in Game 2
Gilgeous-Alexander registered 27 points (10-29 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and two steals over 38 minutes in Tuesday's 118-99 victory over the Grizzlies in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Gilgeous-Alexander finished Tuesday's contest as the game's leading scorer, though he wasn't efficient from the field for a second straight game. Over the first two games of the series, Gilgeous-Alexander has connected on just 33.3 percent of his field-goal attempts and has gone 4-for-17 from beyond the arc. Gilgeous-Alexander's shooting hasn't been much of an issue as the Thunder have taken a 2-0 series lead in convincing fashion, and he'll look to have a better shooting performance in Game 3 at Memphis.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Shaky shooting in Game 1 win
Gilgeous-Alexander (shin) tallied 15 points (4-13 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five assists, three rebounds and two blocks across 23 minutes Sunday in the Thunder's 131-80 win over the Grizzlies in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series.
With the Thunder having secured the league's top record heading into the final week of the regular season, Gilgeous-Alexander sat out the team's last three games due to a left shin contusion. Still, the injury likely wouldn't have prevented him from playing if Oklahoma City had something at stake. As expected, Gilgeous-Alexander was cleared to play in the postseason opener, and while he didn't shoot the ball well from three-point range, he cleaned up at the free-throw line and received plenty of support from his teammates. Despite the substandard performance, Gilgeous-Alexander was a plus-28 during his time on the court, and the Thunder had the luxury of resting him for the final 17 minutes of the game after amassing a 51-point lead with 4:50 left in the third quarter. Gilgeous-Alexander should be in line for more substantial workloads in the remaining games of the series if the Grizzlies can stay more competitive.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Available for playoff opener
Gilgeous-Alexander (shin) will be available Sunday for Game 1 of the Thunder's first-round playoff series versus the Grizzlies.
The star floor general missed the final three games of the regular season due to a shin contusion, but his absences were precautionary due to the Thunder having already secured the league's top record. Gilgeous-Alexander finished the regular season with an average of 34.2 minutes per game over 76 appearances, but he'll likely get his playing time pushed up in the playoffs while the Thunder face stiffer competition.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Expected to play Sunday
Gilgeous-Alexander (lower leg) is expected to play in the postseason.
Gilgeous-Alexander missed the final three games of the regular season, but the Thunder already had the No. 1 seed locked up, so his absences were likely precautionary. Gilgeous-Alexander is the heavy MVP favorite after averaging 32.7 points, 6.4 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks in 34.2 minutes per game across 76 regular-season appearances.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Not available for season finale
Gilgeous-Alexander (lower leg) is out for Sunday's game against the Pelicans.
The Thunder will again rest the majority of their regular rotation members for this regular-season finale after securing not only the top seed in the Western Conference, but also the best record in the league. Gilgeous-Alexander's impressive season comes to an end with an MVP-level stat line, as he averaged 32.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from three-point range. He seems to be a lock to be among the finalists for the MVP award given how instrumental he was for the Thunder's record-breaking season.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Won't go Friday
Gilgeous-Alexander (shin) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Jazz.
Gilgeous-Alexander will miss his second straight matchup and is officially listed as out with a shin contusion, though it would seem his team is making sure the star guard is getting plenty of rest heading into the postseason. Adam Flagler and Ajay Mitchell should be in line for plenty of opportunities Friday in Gilgeous-Alexander's absence.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Ruled out for Wednesday
Gilgeous-Alexander (shin) will not play Wednesday against the Suns.
Gilgeous-Alexander logged 42 points (14-26 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one block in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 136-120 win over the Lakers, and now he'll be held out for injury maintenance on the second leg of this back-to-back set. That shouldn't come as any surprise, however, as the Thunder locked up the No. 1 seed a while ago. Alex Caruso, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins could be asked to soak up the backcourt minutes in his absence.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Leads team to victory
Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 42 points (14-26 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one block in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 136-120 win over the Lakers.
Gilgeous-Alexander scored at least 40 points for the 13th time this season. The MVP front-runner's points per game average of 32.7 leads the entire NBA, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. Since the beginning of 2025, Gilgeous-Alexander has posted 51.2/40.0/90.4 shooting splits across 44 appearances.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Pops for team-high 26 in loss
Gilgeous-Alexander had a team-high 26 points (12-23 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal over 30 minutes during Sunday's 126-99 loss to the Lakers.
The Thunder already have the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference locked up, so their motivation in this one may have leaned toward simply getting out of it healthy. Gilgeous-Alexander still produced strong numbers, as he extended his streak of appearances with 20-plus points to an incredible 71, the fourth-longest streak in NBA history behind only a pair of 80-game streaks by Wilt Chamberlain and a 76-game surge in 1963-64 by Oscar Robertson. Over 17 outings since the beginning of March, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 33.9 points, 7.3 assists, 4.3 boards, 2.2 threes, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks as he puts the finishing touches on his MVP case.
