Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Full-go in practice
Coach Kenny Atkinson said Thursday that Mitchell (ankle) practiced without any restrictions, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Mitchell missed the Cavaliers' final four regular-season games due to a left ankle sprain. However, the star guard's full participation in practice is a good sign that he will be able to suit up for Game 1 of the playoffs Sunday.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Expected to be ready for postseason
The Cavaliers anticipate Mitchell (ankle) will be ready for the first-round playoff series against their opponent Sunday, which is yet to be determined, Joe Reedy of the Associated Press reports.
Mitchell missed the last four games of the Cavaliers' regular season to nurse a sprained left ankle. The superstar guard's numbers dipped across the board during the 2024-25 campaign, but it resulted in a better all-around performance from the squad, resulting in a 64-win finish and the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Available to play
Merrill, who missed Sunday's regular-season finale against the Pacers for rest, is expected to be ready for the start of the postseason Sunday.
Merrill ended the 2024-25 season with averages of 7.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game across 71 regular-season contests in 19.7 minutes per contest. He's expected to maintain a similar role during the postseason.

Cavaliers' Isaac Okoro: Expected to play in postseason
Okoro (rest) didn't play in the regular-season finale but is expected to be ready for the postseason.
Okoro saw his role change slightly with the Cavaliers during the regular season, but he remained consistent when on the floor. The Auburn product averaged 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, shooting 46.4 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from deep.

Cavaliers' Emoni Bates: Notches 25 points
Bates closed Sunday's 126-118 double-overtime loss to the Pacers with 25 points (9-19 FG, 7-15 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and one block across 42 minutes.
Cleveland had already claimed the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference a while back, so they opted to rest most of their rotation Sunday. That allowed Bates to see extended run, and the second-year forward responded with multiple career highs. Bates made just 10 appearances in the regular season, averaging 3.7 points in 7.5 minutes per contest.

Cavaliers' Nae'Qwan Tomlin: Posts massive line
Tomlin fouled out of Sunday's 126-118 double-overtime loss to the Pacers after recording 24 points (8-21 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one block in 47 minutes.
Making just the fifth appearance of his rookie campaign, Tomlin set multiple career highs with the Cavaliers sitting most of their top rotational players. Tomlin has spent the bulk of his time in the G League with the Cleveland Charge this season, averaging 20.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.7 blocks and 1.9 three-pointers.

Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Posts multiple career highs

Tyson made his third start of the season Sunday with the Cavaliers resting their top rotational players. Tyson has been used sparingly by the Cavaliers this season, with an average of 9.6 minutes across 47 appearances. Still, he made the most of his extended run Sunday with multiple career highs. Tyson is unlikely to crack the playoff rotation for Cleveland, however.

Cavaliers' Craig Porter: Will start Sunday
Porter will be in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pacers.
