Knicks' Trey Jemison: Garbage-time special
Jemison had two points (1-2 FG) and one steal across six minutes during Friday's 118-80 loss to Detroit.
Jemison moved into the rotation for just the ninth time this season, closing the game as a result of an embarrassing loss to the Pistons. Although Jemison has suited up for three of the past four games, there is no reason to think that he will be playing a meaningful role moving forward. He can be ignored in all redraft formats.

Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Quiet in spot start
Robinson accumulated four points (2-2 FG) and three rebounds across 20 minutes during Friday's 118-80 loss to Detroit.
With Karl-Anthony Towns (eye) ruled out prior to tipoff, Robinson was inserted into the starting lineup. Despite the promotion, Robinson failed to have any sort of tangible impact, logging just 20 minutes in the blowout loss. Rough night aside, Robinson has added a level of consistency to his game over the past month, averaging 9.5 rebounds and 2.0 combined steals and blocks in 21.9 minutes per game across his last 13 games.

Knicks' Tyler Kolek: Increased role Friday
Kolek totaled five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 20 minutes during Friday's 118-80 loss to the Pistons.
Kolek saw a handful of extra minutes, closing the game as New York was getting blown out by Detroit. Despite some flashes of upside this season, Kolek continues to serve as a depth piece for the Knicks. The arrival of Jose Alvarado could complicate matters even more for Kolek, limiting his fantasy appeal to dynasty formats and very deep redraft leagues.

Knicks' Josh Hart: Exits early Friday
Hart exited Friday's 118-80 loss to the Pistons in the third quarter due to a right ankle injury and didn't return, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. He finished with five points (2-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes.
Hart was seen getting his ankle examined on the bench before eventually heading back to the locker room. The veteran wing had notably missed the Knicks' previous game Wednesday against the Nuggets due to a left ankle sprain, but it's the other ankle that was bothering him Friday. The right ankle had previously been a concern for Hart, who missed eight straight games from Dec. 27 to Jan. 9 due to a sprain. The Knicks will presumably evaluate him Saturday to determine the severity of the injury before revealing his status for Sunday's game against Boston.

Knicks' Josh Hart: Leaves game with ankle injury
Hart left in the third quarter of Friday's game against the Pistons due to an ankle injury, Vincent Goodwill of ESPN.com reports.
It's unclear whether the injury is to the same ankle that Hart was on the injury report for before Friday's contest. Landry Shamet and Jordan Clarkson should see more playing time off the bench for as long as Hart is out of the game.

Knicks' Jordan Clarkson: Won't start vs. Detroit
Clarkson won't start Friday's game against the Pistons, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Josh Hart will return from a one-game absence due to an ankle sprain, pushing Clarkson back to the second unit. Over his last five appearances off the bench, the veteran guard has averaged 4.4 points in 12.8 minutes per contest.

Knicks' Mohamed Diawara: Starting sans Anunoby
Diawara is in the Knicks' starting lineup against the Pistons on Friday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
The rookie second-rounder will make his sixth start of the season Friday, as the Knicks will be without OG Anunoby (toe). Diawara's last start took place Jan. 17 against the Suns, when he logged three points, four rebounds and two assists over 12 minutes.

Knicks' OG Anunoby: Not playing Friday
Anunoby (toe) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pistons, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
Anunoby was initially listed as probable for Friday's contest due to right toe soreness, but his injury status was downgraded to questionable before the veteran forward was ruled out. Mohamed Diawara will start for the Knicks in Anunoby's absence, and the latter's next chance to play is Sunday against the Pistons.

Knicks' Josh Hart: Good to go Friday
Hart (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Pistons, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
Hart was initially listed as questionable due to the sprained left ankle that kept him out of Wednesday's double-overtime win over Denver. However, he was eventually upgraded to probable and has now been cleared to play. Over his last five outings, the veteran swingman has averaged 14.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 steals across 30.8 minutes per contest.

Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Won't play Friday
Towns (eye) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pistons, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
Towns was downgraded from questionable to doubtful for Friday's game due to a laceration above his right eye that he sustained during Wednesday's double-overtime win over the Nuggets. The veteran big man will end up being sidelined for the first time since Jan. 2, and his next chance to play is Sunday against the Celtics. Mitchell Robinson will likely start at center against Detroit and Ariel Hukporti should see more minutes off the bench in Towns' absence.

Knicks' OG Anunoby: Downgraded to questionable
Anunoby (toe) has been downgraded to questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons
Anunoby was initially listed as probable for Friday's contest, so the downgrade casts some doubt on his availability. If he's unable to play, it would mark his first missed game since Dec. 23. With Karl-Anthony Towns (eye) doubtful and Jose Alvarado (recently traded) and Miles McBride (abdomen) unavailable, Landry Shamet, Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek are all candidates for expanded offensive roles, especially if Anunoby gets ruled out or has limitations Friday.

Knicks' Josh Hart: Upgraded to probable
Hart (ankle) is probable for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Hart was previously considered questionable for New York, but it sounds like he will push through his ankle sprain. With Karl-Anthony Towns (eye) doubtful and OG Anunoby (toe) now questionable, Hart will likely see a bump in usage Friday night.

Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Not expected to play Friday
Towns is doubtful for Friday's game against the Pistons due to a right eye laceration.
Towns got his right eye bandaged up during Wednesday's 134-127 double-overtime victory over the Nuggets, and now it sounds like he won't be able to play Friday. Mitchell Robinson appears to be slated to handle the starting center job against Detroit, with Ariel Hukporti stepping into the backup role.

Knicks' Jose Alvarado: Won't debut Friday
Alvarado (not injury related) will not debut Friday against the Pistons.
Alvarado was acquired by the Knicks at the trade deadline, but his debut won't happen until Sunday in Boston, at the earliest. With Miles McBride (abdominal) sidelined indefinitely, Alvarado is expected to slot in as the backup point guard behind Jalen Brunson.

Knicks' Josh Hart: Questionable for Friday
Hart (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game in Detroit.
Hart sat out Wednesday's win over the Nuggets with the ankle ailment, but there's a chance he'll be able to get back out there for Friday's game. If Hart returns, Jordan Clarkson would head back to the second unit, and Landry Shamet's minutes would dip.

Knicks' OG Anunoby: Expected to play Friday
Anunoby is probable for Friday's game against the Pistons due to right toe soreness.
Anunoby hasn't sat out since Dec. 23 and is on track to play Friday. Over his last seven appearances, the two-way forward has averaged 21.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.1 three-pointers in 34.6 minutes per game while shooting a scorching 50.0 percent from three-point land.
