The severity of Blair's injury isn't yet known, and it's unclear whether the issue will impact his availability for Friday's preseason finale against the Eagles. The 28-year-old defensive lineman joined the Jets in June after he missed the 2020 campaign due to a torn ACL.

49ers' Ronald Blair: Unlikely to return
Coach Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday that Blair (knee) is "unlikely to play this season," Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Blair has spent the entire 2020 campaign to this point on the reserve/PUP list while working to recover from an ACL tear sustained last season. He suffered a setback back in October, and it seems that the issue is severe enough to push his return to 2021.

49ers' Ronald Blair: Suffers setback
Blair (knee) suffered a setback and will take longer to return from the reserve/PUP list, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
There's still no clear timeline for his return, but a quick recovery would help with the 49ers' depleted depth at defensive end. However, it looks like it may take at least a few more weeks before Blair is ready to return. Over the previous two seasons, Blair recorded 57 tackles and 8.5 sacks through 25 games.
