Chiefs' D.J. Humphries: Dealing with hamstring issue
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that Humphries (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.
Reid added that Humphries tweaked his hamstring in Kansas City's Week 14 win over the Chargers, and the team will monitor his injury on a day-by-day basis. If the veteran offensive tackle can't upgrade to at least limited practice participation Thursday or Friday, Wanya Morris could draw the start at left tackle Week 15 against the Browns.

Chiefs' D.J. Humphries: Questionable to return to SNF
Humphries (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday night's contest versus the Chargers, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
Humphries pulled up lame with a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter, making it rather unlikely he's able to return to the contest. The offensive lineman was making his third straight start at left tackle for Kansas City.

Chiefs' D.J. Humphries: Inks deal with Kansas City
Humphries signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Chiefs on Friday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Friday that Humphries was medically cleared to return to football activities. Humphries tore his ACL in Week 17 of the 2023 regular season, and though he was released by the Cardinals in March, he continued to rehab throughout the summer in the hopes of returning to NFL action in 2024. He worked out with the Giants in October, but he will take his talents to Kansas City, and his contract has a maximum value of $4.5 million with incentives, per Rapoport. Humphries spent the first nine years of his NFL career with the Cardinals and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2021. He'll provide veteran depth for a Chiefs' offensive line that has allowed 22 sacks across 10 regular-season games, though 10 of those have come over the last three contests, per Nate Taylor and RJ Kraft of The Athletic.

D.J. Humphries: Receives medical clearance
Humphries (knee) has been medically cleared to return to football activities, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Humphries tore his ACL in Week 17 of last season and rehabbed throughout the summer after he was released by the Cardinals in March. The soon-to-be 31-year-old (in December) visited with the Giants last month and could be a rare impactful pickup for a contending team at this stage of the season. Humphries has started all 98 career games he's appeared in and made the Pro Bowl as recently as 2021.

D.J. Humphries: Drawing interest from Giants
The Giants held a visit with Humphries (knee) on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Humphries suffered an ACL tear in Week 17 of the 2023 campaign with Arizona, but he's now apparently in good enough shape to discuss a return to the field in the near future. After standout left tackle Andrew Thomas was ruled out for the season ahead of Week 7, it makes sense that the Giants would look to shore up the offensive line in some way.

D.J. Humphries: Let go by Cardinals
Humphries (knee) was released by the Cardinals on Wednesday, Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic reports.
Humphries -- who was let go with a failed physical designation -- suffered a torn ACL in Week 17 of the 2023 campaign and is still recovering from the injury. Once healthy, the offensive tackle will have to prove himself in order to get another opportunity elsewhere. The 30-year-old has an abundance of experience in the league and will now look for a new home after nine seasons in Arizona.

Cardinals' D.J. Humphries: Surgery delay due to MCL sprain
Head coach Jonathan Gannon noted Monday that Humphries (knee) has to wait to get surgery for his torn ACL, Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic reports.
Gannon told reporters that Humphries is dealing with an MCL sprain that needs to "calm down" before undergoing ACL surgery. McManaman notes that it could take a month or two for that to happen, which would significantly delay Humphries's surgery and subsequent recovery. He started in all 15 games he appeared in this season.
