  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Won't play Sunday

Head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Kupp (ankle) won't play Sunday against the Packers, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

With the Rams on bye Week 6, Kupp's next chance to see game action will arrive Sunday, Oct. 20 against the Raiders. In the continued absences of both Kupp and Puka Nacua (IR, knee), Jordan Whittington, Tutu Atwell and Demarcus Robinson (groin) are slated to lead the Rams' WR corps versus Green Bay this weekend.

  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Expected to miss at least two more games

Kupp (ankle) is expected to miss at least the Rams' Week 5 game against the Packers, Fox's Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday.

This falls in line with earlier reports that suggested next week would be difficult for Kupp to play. The Rams are on bye in Week 6, so it's a logical decision not to rush him back. Meanwhile, teammate Puka Nacua (knee) isn't expected to return until at least Week 8.

  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Sheds cast on ankle

Kupp (ankle) was spotted working with the Rams' strength and conditioning staff off to the side during Wednesday's practice and is no longer wearing a cast, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Kupp, who has already been ruled out for Sunday's game in Chicago, was rehabbing off to the side Wednesday along with Puka Nacua (knee), who remains on injured reserve. Kupp seems to be making progress in his recovery, though with the Rams scheduled for a Week 6 bye, it wouldn't be surprising to see him remain out through the team's Week 5 matchup against the Packers. Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell, Tyler Johnson and Jordan Whittington appear in line to lead the Rams' wide receiver corps against the Bears.

  • Rams' Cooper Kupp: Won't play Week 4

Head coach Sean McVay said that Kupp (ankle) will not be available for Sunday's game against the Bears, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Though the Rams thus far have avoided placing Kupp on injured reserve, he'll miss a second straight game due to the ankle injury he sustained in the Week 2 loss to the Cardinals. For now, the Rams seem to be taking a week-to-week approach with Kupp, and it wouldn't be surprising if he's ultimately ruled out for the team's Week 5 matchup with the Packers with a bye week on tap Week 6. With Puka Nacua (knee) on IR and Kupp sitting out the Week 3 win over the 49ers, Demarcus Robinson (93 percent of snaps) and Tutu Atwell (73 percent) paced Rams wideouts in playing time, though Tyler Johnson (49 percent) and Jordan Whittington (40 percent) saw a fair amount of involvement as well.
