    The Raiders released Facyson (undisclosed) from injured reserve after reaching an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Facyson was placed on injured reserve Wednesday and was set to miss at least the first four games of the regular season. With the injury settlement, Facyson can now sign with a team once he's fully recovered from his undisclosed ailment. He appeared in three regular-season games for Las Vegas last season and finished with five tackles (four solo).

    Since the move happened after cutdown day, Facyson can return after four regular-season games. The cornerback missed most of 2023 with a shin injury, only playing in three games and making five tackles. Facyson should be a depth corner for Las Vegas upon his return.

    Facyson had to be carted off the field Tuesday, and although he was unable to return for practice Wednesday, the injury is not believed to be serious. Head coach Josh McDaniels added, "I don't think it's going to be too long-term." Facyson spent last season with the Colts after suiting up for the Raiders during the 2021 campaign, compiling 28 tackles and six passes defended. He'll return to trying to earn a depth role in the Las Vegas secondary once he's fully recovered.

    Facyson was carted off during Raiders practice Tuesday after suffering an apparent leg injury, Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

    Facyson was standing out at camp before suffering this leg injury, but head coach Josh McDaniels doesn't believe he'll be out for a long period of time. McDaniels told reporters Wednesday that there's no update on the veteran cornerback's injury but suggested "it won't be too long term." Once he returns to full health, expect the 28-year-old Facyson to serve as a rotational corner for the Raiders ahead of the coming season.
