Vikings' Aaron Jones: Aiming to be ready by Sunday
Jones (shoulder/toe) said Friday that he thinks he'll "be in a good spot" by Sunday to play against Baltimore, after the Vikings listed him as questionable on their final injury report, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Following last week's early exit, Jones managed limited practices Thursday and Friday. He told reporters after Friday's practice that he's feeling good, though he did seem to hint at his Sunday availability depending on continued progress over the next two days. Should Jones end up inactive ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, Jordan Mason and Zavier Scott would take on larger roles in Minnesota's backfield.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Questionable to face Baltimore
Jones (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Jones suffered an AC joint sprain during the third quarter of Sunday's 27-24 win over the Lions. He missed the rest of the game and didn't practice Wednesday, before returning Thursday as a limited participant. Jones appears truly questionable heading into the weekend, with Jordan Mason and Zavier Scott in line for larger roles if Jones ends up on the inactive list before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Limited in return to practice
Jones (shoulder/toe) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
According to Emily Leiker of The Minnesota Star Tribune, Jones was seen stretching prior to Thursday's session, and his ensuing listing on the Vikings' second Week 10 injury report indicates that he's progressing through the AC joint sprain in his right shoulder and also a toe issue. Jones will have one more chance to get back to full activity this week, or he's more likely to enter the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens. If he's able to suit up, he likely will continue his relative timeshare out of Minnesota's backfield with Jordan Mason.

Jones revealed after this past Sunday's win at Detroit that his early departure was due to an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. As the Vikings reconvened Wednesday to kick off Week 10 prep, his absence was attributed to shoulder and toe issues. The latter was unknown until now, so his status will be watched closely as the week continues to see if he's in any danger of missing Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: 'Positive news' regarding shoulder
Coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that Jones' right shoulder is "sore" following Sunday's 27-24 win over Detroit, but the Vikings received "positive news early on" and will see if the running back can increase his activity level as the week goes on, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Jones thus seems to have a chance to play this coming Sunday against the Ravens after suffering what he described as an AC joint sprain Week 9, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Jones was running well before exiting in the third quarter, racking up 98 yards from scrimmage on 11 touches, while fellow RB Jordan Mason accounted for 11 touches for 37 total yards. Wednesday's injury report may provide a baseline for Jones as he seeks to miss no additional time.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Dealing with shoulder sprain
Jones, who exited Sunday's 27-24 win over the Lions, suffered an AC joint sprain in his shoulder, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
According to Pelissero, the belief is that the running back's injury issue is minor, and Jones thinks he'll be able to play next weekend against the Ravens. With that in mind, Ben Goessling of The Minnesota Star Tribune relays that coach Kevin O'Connell noted that Jones' shoulder will be evaluated further, while adding that the team is "hoping to get some good news" on that front. In the event that Jones is forced to miss time, however, fellow RB Jordan Mason would be in line to see added touches, as he did when Jones was on IR with a hamstring injury.

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Suffers shoulder injury
Jones hurt his shoulder during Sunday's contest in Detroit.
After a three-yard run at the start of the third quarter, Jones went to the medical tent and has remained there since then. He was sitting on nine carries for 78 yards and two catches (on two targets) for 20 yards at the time he exited. Jordan Mason is poised for more work for as long as Jones is on the sideline.
