Cardinals' Jackson Barton: Officially placed on IR
The Cardinals placed Barton (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday.
Barton was already ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the 49ers. His placement on IR allowed Arizona to sign safety Andre Chachere from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday. Barton appeared in four regular-season games for the Cardinals, including two starts at right tackle.

Cardinals' Jackson Barton: Ruled out for Week 18
Barton (ankle) was downgraded to out Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus the 49ers, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Barton popped up on the injury report Friday due to an ankle issue and was initially deemed questionable for Sunday. However, the injury is severe enough that he's been ruled out with over 24 hours to go before kickoff. Per Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com, rookie Christian Jones is expected to make his first career NFL start Sunday in Barton's stead.

Jackson Barton: Goes on practice squad IR
The Cardinals placed Barton on the practice squad injured list Wednesday due to a toe injury.
Barton was called up for Sunday's game against the Lions and started at right tackle in place of Kelvin Beachum (hamstring). Barton injured his toe in the fourth quarter of Sunday's contest, and he'll now be forced to miss at least the next four games. That makes Week 8 against the Dolphins on Oct. 27 the earliest he can be reinstated off the practice squad IR.

Cardinals' Jackson Barton: Suffers injury in loss
Barton suffered a toe injury and did not return to Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Lions.
Barton played right tackle Sunday in place of the injured Kelvin Beachum. Beachum had taken over for Jonah Williams, who is now on IR. The Cardinals' injury situation at right tackle will be worth monitoring this week.

Cardinals' Jackson Barton: Headed to Arizona
The Cardinals signed Barton to a one-year deal Friday, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.
Barton spent the past two seasons with Raiders and appeared in eight games, and he'll be staying out west to play for the Cardinals in 2023. The 2019 seventh-round pick can play either left or right tackle and will hope to provide solid depth next season.

Raiders' Jackson Barton: Suiting up New Year's Day
Barton (back) is active for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
After being sidelined for both of the Raiders' previous two contests due to a back issue, Barton will now be available to back up starting left tackle Kolton Miller this weekend versus San Francisco.

Raiders' Jackson Barton: Not playing Saturday
Barton (back) is listed as inactive Saturday at Pittsburgh.
Like two of his teammates along the Raiders offensive line -- also, Dylan Parham (knee) and Alex Bars (knee) -- Barton followed a DNP/LP/LP practice regimen this week. Unlike that pair, Barton won't suit up for Week 16 action. He'll thus set his sights on being available for the team's next game Sunday, Jan. 1 versus the 49ers.

Jackson Barton: Let go by Raiders
Barton was waived by the Raiders on Saturday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Barton served as depth along the offensive line and was cut so the Raiders could add additional options in the secondary with both Rock Ya-Sin (knee) and Sam Webb (hamstring) questionable for a Week 4 matchup against the Broncos. Barton will be subject to waivers, so he won't be free to sign elsewhere unless he goes unclaimed.

Raiders' Jackson Barton: Signs with Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Barton from the Giants' practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The Raiders added Barton for depth at right tackle with Alex Leatherwood (oblique) questionable for Sunday's matchup against Miami. If Leatherwood is unable to suit up, Brandon Parker likely would be the replacement ahead of Barton.
