Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Leads pass catchers in loss
Goedert brought in seven of eight targets for 62 yards in the Eagles' 33-16 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
With A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) both sidelined, Goedert unsurprisingly led the Eagles in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon. The talented tight end was coming off a stellar 10-catch, 170-yard performance against the Saints in Week 3, and although his numbers were markedly less spectacular Sunday, he still provided fantasy managers with a useful tally. As successful as Goedert has been the last two games, his target share is almost certain to take a hit in a Week 6 home matchup against the Browns on Sunday, Oct. 13 following a Week 5 bye, considering there's a good chance at least one of the aforementioned wideouts will be able to suit up for that contest.

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Not on injury report
Goedert isn't listed on Wednesday's injury report and is on track to play Sunday against Tampa Bay, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
Reports earlier Wednesday suggested Goedert wasn't practicing, but he was working out off to the side and eventually joined his teammates for a walkthrough session. The Eagles may have just been lightening his practice workload after a 170-yard explosion in the Week 3 win at New Orleans. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith suffered a concussion during the game and missed practice Wednesday, potentially leaving the Eagles without their top two pass catchers for Week 4. WideoutA.J. Brown is still recovering from a hamstring injury and also missed practice.

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Not spotted at practice
Goedert is not participating in the open portion of Wednesday's walk-through practice, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
Goedert is catching passes off to the side Wednesday, while A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) are both sitting out the session entirely. The tight end is coming off a career-best Week 3 performance against the Saints in which he secured 10 of 11 targets for 170 yards, and his availability will be of critical importance Sunday versus Tampa Bay if either or both of Brown and Smith can't go. The Eagles will release their first Week 4 practice report later Wednesday, when it will be known why Goedert was contained to working out off to the side.

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Career-best day in win
Goedert brought in 10 of 11 targets for 170 yards in the Eagles' 15-12 win over the Saints on Sunday.
Goedert was already expected to see an uptick in targets with A.J. Brown (hamstring) inactive, but he garnered an even bigger role in the air attack once DeVonta Smith exited the game in the second half with a concussion. Goedert recorded two receptions totaling 91 yards after Smith exited the contest, the second a critical 61-yard grab on third down that brought the ball down to the Saints' four-yard line with 1:16 remaining. Both Goedert's reception and receiving yardage totals were career highs, and he could be due for another busy afternoon if at least one of Brown or Smith is unable to suit up for a Week 4 road matchup against the Buccaneers.

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Gains 38 yards on three catches
Goedert caught three of four targets for 38 yards in Monday's 22-21 loss to the Falcons.
Goedert finished as the Eagles' second-leading receiver now that the team will be without the services of star wideout A.J. Brown (hamstring) for multiple weeks. The starting tight end has turned in two pedestrian fantasy scores through two games this season, but fantasy managers shouldn't give up on the 2018 second-round pick so quickly, as the team has a need for auxiliary targets behind DeVonta Smith for Sunday's tilt against the Saints.
