Raiders' Christian Wilkins: Goes on IR as expected
Wilkins (foot) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
Wilkins' move to IR shouldn't come as a surprise as he already underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a Jones Fracture in his foot. The Clemson product is expected to be facing an extended absence, although a firm timeline isn't yet available. His placement on injured reserve will guarantee he misses at least the Raiders' next four games though.

Raiders' Christian Wilkins: Out indefinitely with foot injury
Wilkins underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a Jones Fracture in his foot that he sustained in Sunday's loss to the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Wilkins injured his foot in the first half of Sunday's game and remained in the locker room after halftime. It's a devastating blow for the Raiders, who signed Wilkins to a four-year, $110 million contract in March to reinforce their defensive line alongside All-Pro Maxx Crosby and veteran John Jenkins. Wilkins will eventually be placed on injured reserve, and while he hasn't been ruled out for the year, a return won't likely happen until much later in the regular season. Adam Butler has been the Raiders' top rotational defensive tackle this season, and he should slide into Wilkins' starting spot from here on out.

Raiders' Christian Wilkins: Won't return for second half
Wilkins has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Broncos due to a foot injury.
Wilkins stayed in the locker room after halftime due to a foot injury he sustained late in the second quarter. He'll end his day registering five tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks. Adam Butler is the top candidate to fill in at defensive tackle for the rest of Sunday's game alongside John Jenkins.

Raiders' Christian Wilkins: Will play against Carolina
Wilkins (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Wilkins was a limited participant in all three practices this week while nursing a knee injury, but the 2019 first-round pick will suit up for Sunday's contest. He's registered nine tackles (seven solo) through the first two games of the year and is still seeking his first sack of the regular season.

Raiders' Christian Wilkins: Should be good to go Sunday
Wilkins (knee) is expected to be available for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Wilkins was tagged as quesitonable Friday after he was limited all week in practice with a knee issue. The 28-year-old totaled nine tackles while playing nearly every defensive snap over the first two weeks of the season. If Wilkins isn't available or doesn't play quite as many snaps Sunday, Nesta Jade Silvera and/or Adam Butler could stand to see more playing time versus Carolina.

Raiders' Christian Wilkins: Tagged as questionable
Wilkins (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Panthers, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Wilkins was limited at practice all week by a knee issue, and now his availability for Week 3 action is up in the air. If he ends up missing Sunday's contest, it could mean more snaps for 2023 seventh-rounder Nesta Jade Silvera.
