Lemieux (knee) is active for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
Lemieux missed the Saints' last four regular-season game due to a knee injury. However, the 2020 fifth-round pick was activated off IR on Saturday and will suit up for Sunday's NFC South clash, though he'll likely serve as the backup center to Connor McGovern with Lucas Patrick (ankle) inactive.

New Orleans now has 21 days to activate Lemieux to its active roster before he reverts back to IR. Expect the 27-year-old offensive lineman from Oregon to reclaim the Saints' starting center role once he's returned to the field.

Saints' Shane Lemieux: Shifts to IR
The Saints placed Lemieux (ankle) on injured reserve Monday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Lemieux was unable to practice all week and had been ruled out for Monday night's matchup against the Chiefs due to an ankle injury prior to being placed on IR. The 27-year-old will now be forced to miss at least the Saints' next four games, with his earliest possible return coming in Week 9 against the Panthers.

Saints' Shane Lemieux: Won't play against Chiefs
Lemieux (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game versus Kansas City, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Lemieux has been unable to practice all week due to an ankle injury. His next chance at playing will be Week 5 against Tampa Bay on Oct. 13. The Saints signed veteran Connor McGovern from the Jets' practice squad to the active roster Friday, and although he has just two practices under his belt in New Orleans, he'll likely serve as the starting center for Monday's contest.
