Lions' Carlton Davis: Ten tackles in team debut
Davis recorded 10 total tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 26-20 overtime victory versus the Rams.
Davis was rather busy in his debut with the Lions after being traded to Detroit in March, finishing second on the team in takedowns. The cornerback played 77 of the team's 78 total defensive snaps, missing his only snap after briefly getting hurt on a diving interception attempt in the fourth quarter. With the Lions' offense amongst the best in the NFL, Davis could have a big year with the team's opponents likely attempting to come from behind late in games.

Lions' Carlton Davis: Off NFI list
The Lions activated Davis (undisclosed) off the active/non-football injury list Wednesday.
Whatever injury Davis was dealing with must have been minor, as he was activated off Detroit's active/non-football injury list just hours after being placed on it. He's now eligible to return to the field and participate in Lions training camp.

Lions' Carlton Davis: Lands on NFI list
The Lions placed Davis (undisclosed) on the active/non-football injury list Wednesday.
Both the nature and extent of Davis' injury are currently unknown, but the 27-year-old is still eligible to practice and play at any point in the preseason, despite his placement on the active/non-football injury list. Davis is entering his first season in Detroit after spending the last six years of his career in Tampa Bay, and he's expected to step in and immediately be a major contributor in the Lions' secondary.
