Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Headed to Baltimore
Las Vegas is trading Crosby (knee) to the Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Crosby is a five-time Pro Bowler who racked up 69.5 sacks over 110 regular-season games spanning seven seasons with the Raiders. He dealt with a knee injury that required surgery last year and missed the final two weeks of the campaign, but he's expected to be back to full health by the beginning of training camp. Crosby is widely regarded as one of the league's top pass rushers and should immediately boost a Baltimore pass rush that tied for third to last in the NFL with just 30 sacks during the regular season in 2025. The trade can't be processed until next week, per Schefter, but it appears to be fully agreed upon.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Expected back by GM
GM John Spytek said Tuesday that he expects Crosby (knee) to play for the Raiders in 2026, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports.
The star edge rusher has been the subject of trade speculation of late while he rehabs from a knee procedure, but at this stage Spytek believes that Crosby will remain with the Raiders. That aligns with new head coach Klint Kubiak's desire for him to remain a franchise pillar. On that subject, Spytek said Tuesday, "Maxx is an elite player, and I've been very upfront from the start when I got here that we're in the business of having really good players on the team, and we need a lot more of them." That said, Spytek fell short of saying that the 28-year-old is untradeable, acknowledging that in general the team is always open listening to trade offers. "I learned a long time ago, always listen," Spytek noted. "I'm always listening."

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Viewed as key player by new coach
Speaking at his introductory press conference Tuesday, new Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said he wants Crosby (knee) "to be a part of our success going forward, there's no doubt about that," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
"I got to a cup of coffee with Maxx this morning," Kubiak said, via Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com. "Love talking with him. And look forward to continuing those conversations. He was the first one in here working out. So that fired me up." There has been a lot of smoke since the season ended that Crosby wants out of Las Vegas after the Raiders forced him to sit out the final two games of the regular season due to a minor knee injury that required surgery in January, as a way to help the Raiders secure the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 Draft. However, Crosby has been extremely loyal to the Raiders since he was drafted in 2019, and he's a fan favorite. Getting the 28-year-old back on board should be one of the top priorities for the new coaching staff. Whether he's traded or not, Crosby is expected to complete his rehab from surgery well ahead of training camp.
