Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Makes impressive TD grab
Sutton finished with four receptions (six targets) for 53 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chargers.
Sutton made his mark on this contest when he fully extended to catch a 37-pass from Bo Nix for a highlight reel touchdown. It was the 28-year-old Sutton's second touchdown through six games after the veteran snagged 10 scores in 2023. Denver's offense is starting to show some life as Nix continues to develop under center, giving Sutton modest fantasy appeal against the Saints in Week 7 on Thursday Night Football.

Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Held quiet on five targets
Sutton recorded two receptions on five targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 34-18 win over the Raiders.
Sutton led the Broncos' wide receivers in targets, though Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin were used heavily as pass catchers and diminished Sutton's volume. His most impactful contribution was a 24-yard reception midway through the fourth quarter to set up a touchdown to Josh Reynolds on the next play. Sutton has had reliable targets early this season, but he has yet to reach 70 yards in a game.

Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Scores game's only touchdown
Sutton caught three passes for 60 yards and one touchdown on nine targets against the Jets on Sunday.
Between the brutal matchup and the rain, Sutton's inefficiency was understandable. There's also additional optimism to be gleaned from the fact Sutton's score was the only one of the game, and as rookie signal-caller Bo Nix gains more experience, it's certainly possible he begins to more consistently unleash Sutton's considerable talents. Sutton has a more favorable matchup awaiting in a Week 5 divisional clash against the Raiders.

Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Paces pass catchers in win
Sutton brought in seven of 11 targets for 68 yards in the Broncos' 26-7 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Sutton led the Broncos in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, with the first two totals also serving as season highs. The veteran wideout had unsurprisingly seen his numbers drop while working with rookie signal-caller Bo Nix over the latter's first two career games, but the 12th overall pick's improved performance Sunday encouragingly lifted Sutton up the most of any Denver pass catcher. The duo will aim to carry over the momentum into a Week 4 road matchup against the Jets.
