Colts' Julian Blackmon: Does practice in full
Blackmon (shoulder) was a full participant during practice Wednesday.
It was previously reported by James Boyd of The Athletic that the Utah product was on the field Wednesday, but his level of participation wasn't reported. His ability to get in a full practice suggests the safety should be good to go Sunday against the Bears.

Colts' Julian Blackmon: Returns to field
Blackmon (shoulder) is practicing Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Blackmon was unable to practice last week before missing their Week 2 loss to the Packers. His return to the field Wednesday should be good news for the Utah product and put him on a trajectory to take the field this Sunday against the Bears. However, it's not yet clear if Blackmon was limited or a full participant for the session, which will keep him iffy for Week 3 for now.

Colts' Julian Blackmon: Missing Week 2
Blackmon (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Packers.
Blackmon was held out of practice both Wednesday and Thursday due to a shoulder injury, so it's no surprise that the 26-year-old won't suit up in Week 2. Fortunately for the Colts, head coach Shane Steichen told reporters Friday that he doesn't believe Blackmon's injury is a long-term issue, per James Boyd of The Athletic. Expect Trevor Denbow and Rodney Thomas to see increased work with Indianapolis' first-team defense in Blackmon's stead.

Colts' Julian Blackmon: Misses Thursday's practice
Blackmon (shoulder) did not practice Thursday.
Blackmon has now missed back-to-back practices, so he may need to participate in at least a limited capacity Friday for any chance of being available for Sunday's road matchup against the Packers. Trevor Denbow and Rodney Thomas will be candidates to handle increased defensive snaps if Blackmon misses any time.

Indianapolis' top strong safety logged 13 total tackles during the team's Week 1 loss, but it appears he may have sustained a shoulder injury in that effort. Blackmon's practice participation Thursday and Friday will provide a better indication of whether the 26-year-old will be able to suit up for the Colts in Week 2.

Blackmon recorded 13 tackles (10 solo) in Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Texans.
Blackmon led the defense with 10 solo stops, although he was second to Nick Cross in total tackles. Despite the loss, it was a productive day from a fantasy perspective for the Utah product, who will look to carry over that momentum into Week 2 against the Packers.
