Panthers' Jordan Fuller: Won't require surgery
Panthers coach Dave Canales said Wednesday that Fuller (hamstring) won't require surgery to address his injury, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Fuller's hamstring injury led to his placement on IR on Tuesday, so the fact that he'll be able to avoid surgery inspires hope that the starting safety will be able to get back on the field when first eligible. Being placed on IR rules Fuller out for at least the next four games, which makes a Week 8 matchup against the Broncos on Oct. 27 his first possible return to game action.

Panthers' Jordan Fuller: Goes on IR
Fuller (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Fuller exited Sunday's win over the Raiders early with the injury and was unable to return. He'll now be forced to miss at least the next four weeks, leaving the Panthers without their starting free safety. In his absence, Nick Scott will be asked to continue filling in at the position, as he did Sunday, recording six tackles (four solo) in the process.

Panthers' Jordan Fuller: Coming to Carolina
The Panthers signed Fuller (ankle) on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Fuller was forced to miss the Rams' wild-card loss to the Lions due to an ankle injury, but it now seems as if he's moved past the issue. After spending the first four seasons of his career in Los Angeles, the Ohio State product will look to build on a productive 2023 campaign during which he recorded 84 total tackles, three forced fumbles and eight passes defended, including three interceptions, across 17 games. The 26-year-old safety is expected to help fortify a Panthers' defense that already ranked third in passing yards allowed per game (171.5) in 2023.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Performs well in contract year
Fuller (ankle) ended the 2023 regular season with 94 tackles (61 solo), eight passes defended, three interceptions and three forced fumbles over 17 games played.
A year removed from a hamstring injury that cost him all but three games of the 2022 campaign, Fuller returned and logged 1,007 snaps on defense, while proving to be a disruptive force at safety with career highs in forced fumbles and passes defended. Fuller will be an unrestricted free agent heading into the offseason and will likely draw plenty of interest if he doesn't return to the Rams.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Won't play wild-card game
Fuller (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's wild-card game against the Lions, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Fuller was unable to participate in practice all week, and despite being given the questionable tag Friday, he will stay on the sidelines Sunday. In his absence, Russ Yeast is likely to slot into the starting strong safety spot alongside free safety Quentin Lake.
