Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Ends scoring drought Sunday
Taylor carried the ball 25 times for 96 yards and caught his only target for a seven-yard touchdown in Sunday's 25-24 win over the Patriots.
The veteran RB just missed compiling 100 rushing yards for the fifth time in 10 appearances this season, and Taylor ended his four-game scoring drought with his first TD reception of the year late in the first quarter. Taylor heads into the Colts' Week 14 bye only 78 yards short of 1,000 scrimmage yards, a mark he reached in each of his first three NFL seasons before falling short in an injury-plagued 2023.

Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Midseason lull continues
Taylor rushed 11 times for 35 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Taylor was inefficient with his carries for the second consecutive game and has now averaged under four yards per carry in three of his last four contests. Quarterback Anthony Richardson pitched a dud Sunday, resulting in a poor game script for Indianapolis' star running back. Taylor remains the workhorse in the Colts' backfield, but the offense needs to show more balance against the Patriots next Sunday in order to unleash their top talent on the roster.

Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Inefficient in Week 11 win
Taylor rushed 24 times for 57 yards and caught one of two targets for three yards in Sunday's 28-27 win over the Jets.
Taylor was surprisingly quiet in the victory, posting his third-lowest rushing yardage total of the season despite setting a season high in rushing attempts. Anthony Richardson scored two short rushing touchdowns in the quarterback's return to the starting role, while Taylor was kept out of the end zone for the third consecutive game after running in five touchdowns in his first five appearances of the season. Getting back on track won't be easy for Taylor in Week 12 against the stout Lions front, especially given the high probability of the Colts falling behind and having to go with a more pass-heavy approach.
