  • Bears' Colston Loveland: Paces pass catchers in playoff win

Loveland secured eight of 15 targets for 137 yards in the Bears' 31-27 wild-card win over the Packers on Saturday. He also caught a two-point conversion pass.

Loveland comfortably paced the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night, and the latter pair of totals also qualified as new career highs. The standout rookie tight end's two-point conversion grab was also key, coming after a Olamide Zaccheaus touchdown catch and bringing the Bears to within a field goal with just over four minutes remaining. Loveland had wrapped up the regular season with a 10-catch, 91-yard, one-touchdown Week 18 effort versus the Lions, so he'll head into next weekend's divisional round with plenty of momentum.

  • Bears' Colston Loveland: Racks up catches in loss

Loveland brought in 10 of 13 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 19-16 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Loveland led the Bears pass catchers across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets, seeing plenty of second-half action as Chicago scored 16 fourth-quarter points to make things interesting. Six of those came courtesy of Loveland, who recorded a one-yard scoring grab with just under five and a half minutes remaining in the contest to narrow a 16-8 deficit. Loveland finished his first NFL regular season by eclipsing 90 receiving yards and scoring a touchdown in consecutive games, leaving him with a 58-713-6 line on 82 targets across 16 games and affording him plenty of momentum heading into the wild-card round next weekend.

  • Bears' Colston Loveland: Expanded role on SNF

Loveland finished with six receptions on 10 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-38 loss to San Francisco.

The rookie tight end was asked to take on a larger role in the passing game with wideouts Rome Odunze (foot) and Olamide Zaccheaus (illness) sitting out Sunday Night Football in Week 17. Loveland responded to the moment with a 36-yard touchdown in the first half while finishing the primetime loss with his second largest fantasy score as a pro. The Michigan product has come on strong over his last nine contests, averaging 56.2 yards per game while scoring all five of his touchdowns this season over that span. TE Cole Kmet remained involved with two receptions for 16 yards, but Loveland is the Chicago tight end to target in fantasy when the Bears face the Lions in Week 18.
