Ravens' Odafe Oweh: Past ankle injury
Oweh (ankle) was spotted participating in Wednesday's practice, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Oweh left Baltimore's camp session Tuesday with an ankle injury, but it appears he's already moved past the issue. The 2021 first-round pick out of Penn State recorded 23 total tackles, including 5.0 sacks, across 13 regular-season games in 2023. He's expected to remain one of the Ravens' top pass rushers heading into the team's 2024 campaign.

Ravens' Odafe Oweh: Dealing with sprained ankle
Oweh missed Tuesday's practice due to a sprained ankle, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
It's unclear how severe the sprain is, but the Ravens could take the cautious approach and hold Oweh out of all three preseason games, starting with Friday's contest against the Eagles. The 2021 first-round pick played in 13 regular-season games last year, finishing with 23 tackles (20 solo), including 5.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles. If Oweh's ankle sprain were to keep him sidelined for an extended period of time, Tavius Robinson and David Ojabo would be next in line to compete for first-team reps at outside linebacker opposite starter Kyle Van Noy.

Ravens' Odafe Oweh: Looks good at OTAs
Oweh (thumb) has impressed during the Ravens' organized team activities, Ryan Mink of the team's official website reports.
Oweh underwent thumb surgery following the 2023 season, but his presence at OTAs indicates he's made a full recovery. Baltimore picked up his fifth-year option earlier this offseason, so Oweh will be on the Ravens' books through the 2025 season. The 31st overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, who has tallied 13 sacks across 45 appearances during his first three seasons, projects to start opposite Kyle Van Noy at outside linebacker during the upcoming season.

Ravens' Odafe Oweh: Option picked up
Oweh (thumb) had the fifth-year option on his contract for 2025 exercised by the Ravens.
Selected 31st overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, Oweh has 13 sacks across 45 appearances through his first three seasons. He's yet to top five sacks in a single season and hasn't developed as anticipated, seeing his snap rate decrease each season and bottoming out at 50 percent in 2023. Still, the Ravens have high hopes for the 25-year-old and he still has a role as a situational edge rusher. Owen underwent thumb surgery following the playoff loss to Kansas City.
