Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Four grabs in win
Waddle brought in four of eight targets for 46 yards in the Dolphins' 15-10 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
Waddle checked in tied for second in targets and third in both receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon for the Dolphins, flashing some improved chemistry with quarterback Tyler Huntley. The upside of Waddle and the other members of the Dolphins' air attack is naturally capped without Tua Tagovailoa (IR-concussion), but the fourth-year wideout heads into a Week 6 bye with no fewer than four receptions in any game this season, albeit while exceeding 41 receiving yards only once. Waddle will likely work with Huntley for at least one more game when the Dolphins face the Colts on Sunday, Oct. 20 following a Week 6 bye.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Team-high yardage total in loss
Waddle secured four of six targets for 36 yards in the Dolphins' 31-12 loss to the Titans on Monday night.
Miami's offense ironically got off on a very good foot with 30 yards over its first two plays, and Waddle accounted for 14 of those on the Dolphins' first play from scrimmage. However, much like the team as a whole, it would go on to be a quiet and largely unproductive night for Waddle, who did record an 18-yard grab in the fourth quarter but gained just four yards on his other two catches. Like fellow wideout Tyreek Hill, Waddle doesn't figure to come close to flashing his true potential while working with either Tyler Huntley or Skylar Thompson (ribs) as his quarterback, and he'll face a pair of talented Patriots cornerbacks in a Week 5 road matchup.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Another modest showing Sunday
Waddle secured four of five targets for 26 yards in the Dolphins' 24-3 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
Like his position mate Tyreek Hill, Waddle saw his considerable upside capped by having to play with Skylar Thompson (ribs), and upon the latter's exit from the contest, Tim Boyle, as his two quarterbacks. Waddle now has back-to-back four-reception outings, and he's netted a forgettable 67 receiving yards in that pair of contests. There's not much reason for optimism in the short term, either, as Tua Tagovailoa's (IR-concussion) future is in limbo and Thompson may have an uphill battle to be ready for a Week 4 Monday night home matchup against the Titans.
