Shedrick Jackson: Signs with Raiders practice squad
Jackson was signed to the Raiders' practice squad Wednesday.
Jackson was let go by the Bengals in mid-September and he has yet to appear in a game in 2024. The wide receiver failed to reel in his only target while playing in three games with Cincinnati in 2023. Now with Las Vegas, Jackson will provide the team with an additional depth option at wide receiver for the stretch run with DJ Turner (knee) being placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Shedrick Jackson: Cut from practice squad
The Bengals waived Jackson from the practice squad Tuesday.
Jackson spent most of his rookie season on Cincinnati's practice squad after going undrafted out of Auburn in 2023. It's possible he could be a candidate to reunite with the Bengals in a similar capacity again as the 2024 campaign progresses.

Jackson will once again join the team's practice squad after being unable to make their 53-man roster, as was the case last season. The Auburn product did end up appearing in three regular-season games in 2023 but did not record any counting stats.

Shed Jackson: Cut by Cincinnati
The Bengals waived Jackson on Tuesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Jackson was also waived this time last year as a rookie, but he managed to reunited with Cincinnati on the practice squad, where he was elevated for three games last season and did not record a stat. Now, if he goes unclaimed on waivers, Jackson will again work to earn a practice squad stint.
