  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Two catches in Week 5 loss

Kincaid caught two of six targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to Houston.

Kincaid tied Mack Hollins for the team lead in both catches and targets as the Bills played without leading pass catcher Khalil Shakir (ankle). This subpar performance can be chalked up to a rare off day from Josh Allen, who completed only nine passes, but it continued a larger trend of disappointment for Kincaid, who has yet to reach the 50-yard threshold in a game heading into a Week 6 MNF clash against the AFC East rival Jets.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Seven targets in Week 4 loss

Kincaid caught five of seven targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens.

Kincaid continued the trend of increasing his target and receiving yard totals in every game this season, topping his respective Week 3 marks of five and 41. He's still searching for the first 50-yard performance of his sophomore season after topping that mark in six of his last 11 regular-season games as a rookie. Kincaid will try to finally reach that threshold in Week 5 against the Texans.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Scores TD as volume ticks up

Kincaid caught three of five targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 47-10 win over the Jaguars.

Kincaid scored a six-yard touchdown in the first quarter on the first of Josh Allen's four first-half touchdown passes. Allen has been spreading the ball around, and no player had more than six targets for Buffalo on Monday, but Kincaid's volume has been steadily increasing. The 2023 first-round draft pick had just two targets Week 1 and four Week 2 before setting another season high with five. Kincaid will look to continue that trend when the Bills travel to Baltimore for Sunday Night Football in Week 4.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Four grabs in Week 2 win

Kincaid secured all four targets for 33 yards in the Bills' 31-10 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

Kincaid had surprisingly been held to just one reception in the season-opening win against the Cardinals, and Josh Allen appeared intent on getting his second-year tight end involved early Thursday. Kincaid was on the receiving end of Allen's first two pass attempts, which totaled 17 yards. Kincaid still finished with a modest line overall, but he did have the second-most receptions and targets on the night for the Bills while also tying Ty Johnson for second-most receiving yards. Kincaid should have a chance to see his opportunities continue to climb in a Week 3 home matchup against the Jaguars on Monday, Sept. 23.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Just one catch Week 1

Kincaid caught one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 34-28 win over the Cardinals.

Kincaid was expected to take on a larger role in Buffalo's passing game after the team traded away top receiver Stefon Diggs in the offseason, but the tight end was quiet to begin his second NFL season. Fellow tight end Dawson Knox also got two targets, catching one for 23 yards. Buffalo had 33 running plays compared to just 23 throws for Josh Allen, so a lack of volume could be a concern for Kincaid moving forward if he continues to split opportunities with Knox and the Bills keep calling a run-heavy offense. The 2023 first-round draft pick will look to bounce back Thursday in Miami.
