Browns' Elgton Jenkins: Returns to practice Saturday
Jenkins (undisclosed) participated in practice Saturday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Jenkins was absent from practice Thursday, but it appears that whatever sidelined him wasn't a serious issue. The former Packer is expected to serve as Cleveland's starting center this season after signing with the organization in March.

Browns' Jamari Thrash: Reverts to injured reserve
Thrash (undisclosed) reverted to the Browns' reserve/injured list Saturday after clearing waivers, per the NFL's transaction log.
No team claimed Thrash off waivers after he was let go by the Browns on Friday. Now that he's on IR, the 2024 fifth-rounder will be forced to miss the entire 2026 season unless an injury settlement is reached with Cleveland.

Browns' Kendrick Green: Lands on injured reserve
The Browns placed Green (undisclosed) on injured reserve Friday.
The nature of Green's injury has not been announced. However, by being placed on the Browns' IR, the 2021 third-rounder will be forced to miss the entire upcoming season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Cleveland. Green has played in 37 regular-season games (19 starts) since entering the league.

Browns' KC Concepcion: Says shoulder is fine
Concepcion said Friday that his shoulder has felt fine since returning to practice earlier this week, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Concepcion was diagnosed with an AC joint sprain after a hard fall at Monday's practice, but it was apparently only a minor sprain, considering he returned to team drills Wednesday. The report notes that he made a leaping catch at Thursday's practice without any visible aggravation of the injury. Concepcion is competing for a top-three role at WR and looks on track to make at least one appearance during the NFL preseason.

Browns' Parker Brailsford: Wearing brace on hand
Brailsford (hand) did not participate at the Browns' training camp practice Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
It's unclear when Brailsford hurt his right hand, but it's costing him valuable time at practice at the moment. In his absence, Luke Wypler figures as the clear next man up at center behind Elgton Jenkins.

Browns' Elgton Jenkins: Not practicing Thursday
Jenkins (undisclosed) did not participate at the Browns' training camp practice Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
It's unknown what is keeping Jenkins out of practice at this point or when he'll be back on the field. With both Jenkins and rookie fifth-rounder Parker Brailsford (hand) sidelined, Luke Wypler could see some reps at center with the first-team offense.

Browns' Nathaniel Watson: Participating in training camp
Watson (biceps) is participating in Cleveland's training camp Wednesday.
Watson has now fully recovered from the biceps injury that forced him to miss the entirety of the 2025 campaign. The 25-year-old will spend the remainder of the summer competing for the backup middle linebacker role behind Carson Schwesinger.

Browns' Aaron Anderson: Reverts to IR
Anderson (undisclosed) reverted from waivers to Cleveland's injured reserve list Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Anderson was not claimed by another team after the Browns waived him with an injury designation Tuesday, and now he's set to spend the 2026 campaign on IR. His absence clears more room for players like rookie undrafted free agents Luke Floriea and Kole Wilson to compete for spots on the final 53-man roster.

Browns' KC Concepcion: Rejoins team drills
Concepcion (shoulder) participated in team drills during Wednesday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
After landing hard on his right shoulder during Monday's session, Concepcion was limited to individual drills at Tuesday's practice. However, the wideout's return to team drills Wednesday, albeit in a non-padded practice, solidifies the notion that his injury wasn't a concerning one. As his rookie campaign approaches, Concepcion is destined to see a key role in a Cleveland WR corps that also features Jerry Jeudy and 2026 second-rounder Denzel Boston, a context that should garner the first-rounder enough volume to merit fantasy lineup consideration regardless of who starts at QB for the team.

Browns' Shedeur Sanders: QB rotation in practice ongoing
Coach Todd Monken confirmed Wednesday that Sanders and Deshaun Watson will continue to alternate first-team signal-caller reps every practice until he names a starter, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Meanwhile, Sanders reportedly turned in a strong effort during Tuesday's session, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, while Petrak indicates that on Wednesday, Watson had his best day of training camp to date. In any case, this is a job battle in which a clear-cut favorite has yet to emerge, and in terms of a timetable for his decision on naming the Browns' Week 1 starter, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal notes that at this stage Monken has neither determined the order in which starts will be assigned during the preseason, nor has he set a deadline for tabbing his starter ahead of the regular-season opener.

Browns' Deshaun Watson: Continues to alternate QB reps
Coach Todd Monken noted Wednesday that Watson and Shedeur Sanders will continue to alternate first-team QB reps every practice until he names a starter, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
While Sanders reportedly looked sharp during Tuesday's session, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, Petrak indicates that Watson had his best day of camp thus far Wednesday, notably in terms of his accuracy and decision-making. With regard to a timetable for his decision on naming the Browns' Week 1 starter, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal relays that Monken has neither solidified the order in which starts will be assigned during the preseason nor when a top option will emerge. The team's exhibition opener is Aug. 15 against the Bears.

Browns' Shedeur Sanders: To start in early preseason contest
Sanders and Deshaun Watson are each expected to start one of Cleveland's first two preseason games, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
Sanders and Watson are jockeying for the Browns' No. 1 QB role for the upcoming campaign, and the pair has been rotating first-team reps so far in camp. With neither signal-caller having separated himself to this point, how each performs during preseason games will likely be the determining factor in who gets the Week 1 start. Head coach Todd Monken is planning to start the leader of the competition in the team's third preseason game, per Wolfe, so fantasy managers may know at that point which quarterback is the more desirable option, though neither Sanders nor Watson is looking like a particularly appealing asset in leagues that deploy one starting QB.

Browns' Shedeur Sanders: Logs first-team reps Tuesday
Sanders, who worked with the Browns' first-team offense Tuesday for the third time in camp, had his best day thus far with that group, according to Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.
The report notes that in the process Sanders was "was largely on target and added a few high-level throws, which has become a pattern." Meanwhile, fellow QB Deshaun Watson -- who has been alternating first-team reps with Sanders by day -- continues to to deal with inconsistent accuracy, per Petrak. Watson will presumably handle first-team reps in the team's next practice, with the Browns' ongoing signal-caller competition likely to extend into the preseason. Cleveland's exhibition opener is Aug. 15 against the Bears.
