  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: Limited Wednesday

Coach Matt LaFleur said Jacobs (undisclosed) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

It's unclear if Jacobs is dealing with the back injury that limited in practice all of last week, but it's not surprising that he's dealing with some wear and tear in the wake of handling 32 carries for 151 yards in the past Sunday's win against the Colts. Jacobs' health concern will be revealed once the Packers post their first Week 3 injury report later Wednesday.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Officially limited Wednesday

Love (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Not only did Love participate in warmups and other drills in the Don Hutson Center prior to practice, he was seen taking snaps and throwing while wearing a sleeve on his left leg outside on the field, per Hodkiewicz. Love thus is making clear progress in his recovery from the MCL sprain that he suffered Week 1 against the Eagles in Brazil, but there's no telling if he may be trending toward a return to action as soon as this Sunday at Tennessee. Ultimately, Friday's injury report will reveal his chances to do so, but Malik Willis would get the nod under center for the Packers this weekend if Love continues to sit out.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Not seen at practice Wednesday

Reed (undisclosed) wasn't present at the part of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

Reed was tacked on to the Packers' final Week 2 practice report Friday as limited due to calf and shin injuries and entered the weekend as questionable. He ended up suiting up this past Sunday against the Colts and logged 39 of 70 offensive snaps (56 percent), but his production fell off with Malik Willis and not Jordan Love under center as Green Bay employed a run-heavy game plan. Still, Reed turned four touches (two catches, two rushes) into 46 yards from scrimmage. His current health concern isn't known but very well may be the same lower-body issues that he dealt with last week.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Back at practice Wednesday

Love (knee) returned to practice Wednesday, Robert Zizzo of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Per Zizzo, Love took part in warmups and other pre-practice drills in the Don Hutson Center before joining his teammates outside. That's not to say he'll be listed as anything more than a limited participant on the Packers' first Week 3 injury report, but it's a sign of progress as he continues to recover from the MCL sprain that he sustained in his left knee in the season-opening loss to the Eagles in Brazil.

  • Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Likely to assume No. 2 RB role

Wilson is expected to serve as the Packers' No. 2 running back behind Josh Jacobs beginning with Sunday's game at Tennessee after Green Bay placed MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday.

While Lloyd was sidelined with a hamstring injury in the Packers' Week 1 loss to the Eagles, Wilson operated as the clear No. 2 back, logging a 26 percent snap share while carrying four times for 46 yards and catching two passes for two yards. Lloyd returned for the Packers' Week 2 win over the Colts and worked ahead of Wilson, though the latter still played 18 percent of snaps and carried five times for nine yards. With Lloyd injuring his ankle in Week 2 and now set to miss at least the next four weeks, Wilson should reprise the role he held Week 1 as the first back off the bench behind Jacobs. The absence of Lloyd could result in a slight uptick in snaps and touches for Wilson, but Wilson is still unlikely to be a reliable fantasy option unless Jacobs is out or limited due to injury.

  • Packers' Chris Brooks: Inks to active roster

The Packers signed Brooks to the active roster from the practice squad Tuesday.

Brooks bumps up to the 53-man roster following the placement of rookie MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) on injured reserve. He figures to work as Green Bay's third-string running back behind Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson during Sunday's road matchup against the Colts.

  • Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Out with ankle sprain

The Packers placed Lloyd (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday.

The rookie third-round pick missed considerable time in training camp and the preseason with hip and hamstring injuries and was inactive for the Packers' season-opening loss to the Eagles. He made his NFL debut in a Week 2 win over the Colts but played just 10 snaps before spraining his ankle, gaining 15 rushing yards on six carries plus three yards on one reception. Lloyd will miss at least the next four games after landing on IR. The Packers signed Chris Brooks off their practice squad in a corresponding move to provide a third option in the backfield behind Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson.

  • Packers' Devonte Wyatt: Logs sack vs. Colts

Wyatt recorded two tackles for loss, including 1.0 sack, during Sunday's 16-10 win over the Colts.

Wyatt's two tackles for loss were the only tackles he recorded in Week 2, but he was the only Packer able to bring down Anthony Richardson. The 2021 first-round pick has posted six pressures across Green Bay's first two contests, and he's expected to remain of of the team's top rotational interior defensive lineman as the Packers travel to Tennessee in Week 3.

  • Packers' Quay Walker: Leading tackler in win

Walker recorded six total tackles (all solo) during Sunday's 16-10 win over the Colts.

Walker has played 100 percent of the Packers' defensive snaps in back-to-back weeks, solidifying his role as the team's top inside linebacker. The 2021 first-round pick has posted 110-plus tackles in each of his first two seasons in the NFL, and he's expected to remain one of the league's top tacklers as Green Bay travels to Tennessee in Week 3.
