Chiefs' Keaontay Ingram: Joins active roster
Ingram has been signed to the Chiefs' active roster.
With Isiah Pacheco (leg) having landed on IR and out indefinitely, Ingram will bolster Kansas City's backfield depth ahead of Week 3 action. For now, Carson Steele and Samaje Perine are the other RBs on the team's active roster, with Clyde Edwards-Helaire on the reserve/non-football illness and Kareem Hunt having just been officially added to the practice squad. For now, Ingram figures to work in a depth role, though once Hunt is up to speed with the offense, he could be elevated and move ahead of Ingram on the team's depth chart.

Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Officially on IR
Pacheco (fibula) has been placed on IR by the Chiefs.
Per Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site, Pacheco is slated to undergo surgery Wednesday, after which the team may have a better idea of how long the running back will miss. In any case, Pacheco will be sidelined at least four games, with Carson Steele, Samaje Perine and Keaontay Ingram currently on the team's active roster, Clyde Edwards-Helaire on the reserve/non-football illness list, and Kareem Hunt on Kansas City's practice squad.

Chiefs' Drue Tranquill: Logs seven tackles vs. Cincinnati
Tranquill registered seven tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 26-25 win over the Bengals.
Tranquill tied with Nick Bolton and Justin Reid for the most tackles on the Chiefs on Sunday. Tranquill played just 48 of the Chiefs' 64 defensive snaps, but the 2019 fourth-round pick remains a key piece to Kansas City's run defense. Tranquill will have his hands full against running back Bijan Robinson and the Falcons in Week 3.

Chiefs' Chamarri Conner: Has scoop-and-score vs. Cincy
Conner finished Sunday's 26-25 win over the Bengals with six tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, and returned a fumble for a 38-yard touchdown.
Conner played just 29 of the Chiefs' 64 defensive snaps Sunday, but the 2023 fourth-round pick made the most of his playing time. He scooped up a Joe Burrow fumble caused by Tershawn Wharton and returned it for a 38-yard touchdown on the second play of the fourth quarter to give the Chiefs a one-point lead. Conner made another high-impact play late in the fourth frame, when he sacked Burrow for nine yards on third down, which led to a Bengals punt and the eventual game-winning 51-yard field goal from Harrison Butker as time expired. Conner should see plenty of work in pass coverage against Kirk Cousins and the Falcons in Week 3.

Chiefs' Nick Bolton: Registers seven tackles vs. Bengals
Bolton logged seven tackles (five solo) and one pass defended in Sunday's 26-25 victory over Cincinnati.
Bolton has registered seven tackles in back-to-back weeks, and he tied Drue Tranquill and Justin Reid for most tackles on the Chiefs on Sunday. Bolton is on pace to finish the regular season with 119 tackles, which would be the third time in his career that he has tallied at least 100 tackles in a season. Bolton and the Chiefs will travel to Atlanta to take on Kirk Cousins and the Falcons in Week 3.
