Chargers' Bud Dupree: Veteran logs consistent season
Dupree (hamstring) had 16 tackles (nine solo), including 2.0 sacks, and added one pass defensed over 16 regular-season games with the Chargers in 2025.
The 11-year vet missed just one regular-season game, Week 16 against the Cowboys, due to a back injury, and he also sat out the wild-card loss to the Patriots because of a hamstring issue. Dupree did see a significant decrease in snaps, as he logged 390 this past season after seeing 522 in 2024. The 33-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and it remains to be seen if the Chargers will be interested in a reunion.

Chargers' Donte Jackson: Healthy and productive in 2025
Jackson recorded 24 tackles (16 solo) and 12 passes defensed, including four interceptions, over 17 regular-season games in 2025.
Jackson's four-interception total is the second best of his eight-year career, with only his 2024 season with the Steelers netting a higher total (five). Jackson has one more year on his contract with the Chargers and will likely continue operating as the starting outside cornerback for the team in 2026.

Chargers' Da'Shawn Hand: Logs a first in eighth year
Hand accumulated 29 tackles (18 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and four passes defensed, including one interception, over 13 games in the 2025 regular season.
Hand's Week 14 interception of Jalen Hurts marked the first of his eight-year career, and the pick helped lead the Chargers to a pivotal victory over the then defending champs. The defensive end managed to exceed his 2024 sack total (1.0) despite playing four fewer games in 2025. The 30-year-old will enter the 2026 offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

Chargers' RJ Mickens: Rotational rookie campaign
Mickens had 29 tackles (18 solo) and two interceptions over 12 regular-season games for the Chargers in 2025.
Mickens was utilized as a rotational safety option behind starters Derwin James and Elijah Molden. The rookie enjoyed a strong start to his career with interceptions against the Vikings in Week 8 and the Steelers in Week 10. He will likely start his sophomore season in a rotational role once again, as both James and Molden will be back in their starting roles in 2026.

Chargers' Jamaree Caldwell: Solid impact as rookie
Caldwell recorded 31 tackles (14 solo) with 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble across 17 regular-season games in 2025.
The Chargers selected Caldwell in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and he went on to play 485 defensive snaps in his rookie season. He primarily functioned as a run stuffer, which he did effectively, and he should at least maintain a comparable role in 2026. While Caldwell was a key member of the Chargers defense, his fantasy intrigue is minimal due to his lack of production as a pass rusher.

Chargers' Benjamin St-Juste: Role slips significantly
St-Juste recorded 37 tackles (22 solo), seven passes defensed and one interception across 16 regular-season games with the Chargers in 2025.
St-Juste joined the Chargers on a modest one-year deal prior to the 2025 season. He filled a depth role in the secondary, with his 355 defensive snaps marking his fewest since his rookie campaign. On the other hand, St. Juste did well when tested by opposing quarterbacks, so he may get a slightly larger deal this offseason with the chance to earn more of a defensive role in 2026.

Chargers' Denzel Perryman: Records 47 tackles in 10 games
Perryman concluded the 2025 regular season with 47 tackles (30 solo) and three pass breakups in 10 appearances.
The inside linebacker missed five games with an ankle injury and two more due to a suspension stemming from a Week 16 hit on Cowboys receiver Ryan Flournoy. Perryman did start all 10 games he played in as well as the Chargers' playoff matchup with the Patriots. The veteran has played on one-year deals for each of the last three seasons, and he is set to become a free agent again.

Chargers' Cam Hart: Breaks up 11 passes
Hart finished the 2025 regular season with 48 tackles (37 solo) and 11 pass breakups, including one interception, across 16 games.
The second-year corner didn't always start (six times) in 2025, but he did usually play, seeing the field for more than 50 percent of the defensive snaps in 14 of his 16 appearances. Hart took on a similar role as a rookie in 2024, finishing the regular season with 37 tackles (28 solo) and seven pass breakups. The 2024 fifth-round pick has two years left on his rookie deal.

Chargers' Elijah Molden: Plays starting role again
Molden finished the 2025 regular season with 52 tackles (28 solo) and an interception in 12 games, all of them starts.
The safety started 12 of 15 regular-season games for the Chargers a year ago, his first season with the team. With two years left on the three-year deal he signed last February, Molden appears to be a part of the team's plans for 2026 as well.

Chargers' Troy Dye: Records 58 tackles
Dye finished the 2025 regular season with 58 tackles (28 solo), including 1.0 sacks, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 16 games.
The inside linebacker also made two tackles (one solo) in the Chargers' playoff loss to the Patriots. Dye made seven starts in his 16 regular-season appearances. In each of the last two campaigns with the Chargers, he has finished with more than 50 tackles, but he has yet to secure a consistent starting role.
