Raiders' Jonathan Sutherland: Signs deal with Las Vegas
Sutherland (undisclosed) signed with the Raiders on Monday.
Sutherland missed the entire 2025 season due to an undisclosed injury, but his signing with the Raiders on Monday indicates that he's since moved past the issue. The Penn State product has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game after tallying 28 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended during his final season in college in 2022. While Sutherland is likely an extra body for offseason activities, he could find a spot on the Raiders' practice squad by impressing the coaching staff this summer.

Raiders' Key'Shawn Smith: Finds work in Las Vegas
Smith signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent Monday.
Smith spent the first three years of his collegiate career at Miami before finishing at SMU. The 6-foot-1 wide receiver appeared in 28 games over two seasons at SMU, catching 58 passes for 919 yards and eight touchdowns. While he's likely just an extra body for offseason activities, Smith could earn a spot on the Raiders' practice squad if he impresses the coaching staff this spring and summer.

The 6-foot-3 wideout began his collegiate career at Arkansas before transferring to Baylor for his final two seasons. During his time at Baylor, Jackson logged just 40 receptions for 725 yards and three touchdowns, averaging roughly 18.1 yards per reception. Now in Las Vegas, Jackson is expected to compete for a depth role in the Raiders' wide receiver corps throughout the summer.

Raiders' Jaylon Smith: Returns to Las Vegas
Smith agreed to sign a contract with the Raiders on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Smith participated on a tryout basis with Vegas during rookie minicamp this weekend as he looks to restart his career. The linebacker, who turns 30 years old in June, briefly spent time with the Raiders in 2023 and played in one game before he was released in November of that season. He then went unsigned throughout the 2024 campaign. Smith previously played for Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham when he held the same role in 2021, tallying 88 tackles across 13 games. He'll likely need to carve out a role as a depth player at inside linebacker in order to secure a spot with Las Vegas this offseason.

Raiders' Carter Runyon: Headed to Las Vegas
Runyon signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent Friday.
The Townson product was initially slated to sign with the Giants after going undrafted in late April, but it now appears he's inked a deal with the Raiders. Runyon caught 87 passes for 1,035 yards and nine touchdowns throughout his final two collegiate seasons. While he's likely just an extra body for offseason activities, Runyon could earn a spot on the Raiders' practice squad if he impresses the coaching staff this summer.
