Raiders' Zamir White: Still not practicing
White (quadriceps) didn't practice Wednesday.
White -- who last played in Week 11 -- didn't practice last week, so his continued absence Wednesday isn't a great sign regarding his status for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, fellow RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) -- who has also missed two straight games -- remained limited at practice. If White and/or Mattison remain out this weekend, Sincere McCormick (who has been signed to the active roster) should continue to see added opportunities in a Las Vegas backfield that also includes Ameer Abdullah.

Raiders' Alexander Mattison: Limited in practice
Mattison (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Fellow running back Zamir White (quadriceps) was a non-participant and thus appears more likely than Mattison to miss a third straight game. Ameer Abdullah filled in as the starter the past two weeks, but Sincere McCormick had a significant role in the second game, taking 38 percent of snaps and a team-high 12 carries (for 64 yards) in the 19-17 loss to Kansas City on Friday. It's hard to say what Mattison's role will be if he returns this Sunday against Tampa Bay, considering he's averaging 3.3 yards per carry this season and has reached 40 rushing yards in just one of his five starts.

Raiders' DJ Turner: Moves to IR
The Raiders placed Turner (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.
The severity of the knee injury Turner suffered in this past Friday's 19-17 loss to Kansas City isn't fully known, but he'll be sidelined until at least Week 18 as a result of his move to IR. After handling a light role to begin the season, Turner logged double-digit snaps in each of the Raiders' last 10 games. He has turned in a 16-158-1 receiving line on 29 targets to go with five carries for 33 yards and another touchdown over his 12 appearances on the season.

Raiders' Sincere McCormick: Gets roster spot
The Raiders signed McCormick off their practice squad Tuesday.
Wide receiver DJ Turner (knee) was placed on injured reserve to open up a spot on the 53-man roster for McCormick, an undrafted rookie out of UTSA who had already exhausted his three practice-squad elevations. With Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadricep) both sidelined for Las Vegas' past two games, McCormick operated as the No. 2 back behind Ameer Abdullah for both contests, carrying 17 times for 97 yards (5.7 YPC) and recording two catches for one yard. Though Mattison and White could both be available for this Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, neither player has been efficient with his opportunities this season, so McCormick could continue to have a role out of the backfield.
