Dean ended with six tackles (five solo) and 1.0 sacks in Sunday's 27-13 win over Miami.
The Raiders defense took care of business in Week 1, with Dean accounting for one of the team's five total sacks on the day. The 25-year-old played for the Eagles before signing a three-year deal with the Raiders in March. In 47 regular-season games with Philadelphia, Dean amassed 226 total tackles, 7.5 sacks and one interception. While he is certainly capable of making a difference whenever he's on the field, he's had issues staying healthy throughout his career.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Strong showing in Week 1
Crosby had two tackles (one solo) and 1.5 sacks in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Dolphins.
Crosby didn't do much in the first three quarters of the contest, though it was a different story in the fourth quarter, with the veteran accounting for 1.5 of the Raiders' 5.0 sacks on the day. It was an interesting offseason for Crosby, who was nearly traded to Baltimore. He also underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. However, Crosby looks to be back at full strength, and he appears more motivated than ever, which isn't good news for opposing offenses.

Raiders' Quay Walker: Quality showing in win Sunday
Walker finished with six tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 27-13 win over Miami.
The Raiders defense had it going versus Miami, surrendering 259 total yards while adding 5.0 sacks, tied for the highest in the NFL in Week 1. While Walker wasn't responsible for a sack Sunday, he contributed in other ways, recovering a fumble late in the fourth quarter during the Dolphins' final drive to seal the win for Las Vegas. Walker, the 2022 No. 22 overall pick, began his career with the Packers, appearing in 58 regular-season games and amassing 469 total tackles, 9.0 sacks and one interception. He agreed to a four-year deal with the Raiders in March 2026.

Raiders' Dylan Laube: Makes mark in win
Laube recorded two fair catches on punts, two kickoff returns for 95 yards and two tackles during Sunday's 27-13 win versus the Dolphins.
Laube only played 10 of Las Vegas' 68 offensive snaps in Week 1, but he had two long kickoff returns, both of which set up Raiders touchdowns. One of his tackles came after a Kirk Cousins interception early in the fourth quarter. There won't be any complaints from the coaching staff about his effort, but fantasy managers probably can't expect reliable production barring an injury ahead of Laube on the running back depth chart.

Raiders' Ian Thomas: Sees offensive snaps in win
Thomas played 31 offensive snaps but did not record any stats in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Dolphins.
Thomas played 45 percent of the Raiders' offensive snaps during Week 1, helping Ashton Jeanty to a 102-yard rushing day. The No. 3 tight end figures to primarily operate in the trenches unless multiple injuries strike the tight-end position.

Raiders' Jack Bech: Scores in season opener
Bech caught three of four targets for 23 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a 27-13 win over Miami.
Bech logged just 27 of Las Vegas' 68 offensive snaps, but his 3-23-1 line on four targets was very similar to that of fellow wideouts Tre Tucker (3-27-0 on four targets) and Jalen Nailor (3-27-0 on five targets). Bech had by far the biggest impact, however, thanks to his 15-yard TD reception in the first quarter. QB Kirk Cousins leaned the most on running back Ashton Jeanty (6-45-2 line on six targets) and tight end Michael Mayer (6-32-0 on seven targets) through the air, but his near-even distribution of targets among the team's wideouts is a good sign for Bech's potential to grow within the offense. The Raiders' WR corps doesn't have a clear-cut No. 1 option, so Bech has a chance to push for an increased role with a strong start to the campaign.

Raiders' Malik Benson: Negative yardage in NFL debut
Benson caught one pass (on two targets) for six yards while taking his lone carry for minus-8 yards during the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also returned two punts for 35 yards.
Benson caught a six-yard pass from Kirk Cousins in what was the former's first NFL catch, though he lost eight yards on a double reverse that the Dolphins defense snuffed out. Benson's seven snaps on offense were the fewest among Raiders wide receivers Sunday, and even with Brock Bowers (knee) sidelined, the rookie sixth-rounder figures to be an afterthought in Las Vegas' offense, though he'll have the opportunity to make plays on special teams as a punt returner.

Raiders' Jalen Nailor: Three catches in Las Vegas debut
Nailor caught three passes (on five targets) for 27 yards during the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Nailor ended up leading all Raiders wide receivers in targets, though he finished third in that category behind Michael Mayer (seven) and running back Ashton Jeanty (six). Even with Brock Bowers (knee) sidelined, it looks like Nailor will operate in a complementary role in the Raiders offense, especially in games where Jeanty gets it going as he did against Miami. Nailor will look for better results Week 2 on the road against the Chargers.

Raiders' Fernando Mendoza: Observes Week 1 from sidelines
Mendoza did not see the field during the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Kirk Cousins was named the Raiders' starter in early September, and the veteran quarterback commanded the offense sufficiently in Sunday's win, completing 21 of 30 targets for 160 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Mendoza is firmly entrenched as the backup, though the rookie first-overall pick could take over as the Raiders' starter later this season if Cousins' production dips.

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Considered day-to-day
Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak labeled Bowers (knee) as day-to-day Monday, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.
After Bowers underwent a meniscus trim procedure last Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the star tight end expected to miss only "a game or two" before making his 2026 debut. Though a partial meniscectomy often entails a recovery period closer to one month, Bowers -- who sat out the Raiders' season-opening win over the Dolphins -- appears to be bouncing back well from his operation and looks like he could have a real chance of suiting up next Sunday against the Chargers. Per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com, Kubiak said that he'll heed the advice of trainers in determining when Bowers will be ready to play, and the 23-year-old's activity in practices is also likely to be a factor in the decision. While Bowers was sidelined for Week 1, Michael Mayer stepped in as the Raiders' top tight end versus Miami and finished with six catches for 32 yards on seven targets.

Raiders' Matt Gay: Perfect in Week 1 win
Gay converted both of his field-goal attempts and all three extra points in the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Gay signed with Las Vegas in the offseason and beat out Kansei Matsuzawa for the Raiders' kicking job over the summer. He's looking for a bounce-back season after struggling in 2025 with the Commanders and 49ers, converting a career-low 73.9 percent of his field-goal tries, including just four of nine from 50-plus yards. Gay's field goals were good from 47 and 30 yards against Miami on Sunday.
