  • Seahawks' Ricky White: Seahawks add punt-blocking wideout

The Seahawks selected White in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 238th overall.

White (6-foot-1, 184 pounds) tanked his draft stock with a disappointing showing at the NFL Combine, where he logged a 4.61-second 40-yardh dash. It was a letdown because White was a dominant wideout at UNLV, where since 2023 he produced 167 receptions for 2,524 yards and 19 touchdowns on 264 targets (63.3 percent catch rate, 9.6 yards per target) and matched the production of New England third-round pick Kyle Williams when the two were both on the UNLV roster. Similarly intriguing is the fact that White initially played for Michigan State, and during his true freshman year White torched Michigan for eight catches, 196 yards and one touchdown on 10 targets before bizarrely playing only two more games for Michigan State and transferring to UNLV. White's pass-catching abilities might not translate to the NFL, but he should at the very least stick around on special teams, because White is an uncanny punt blocker after knocking down four in 2024.

  • Seahawks' Mason Richman: Headed to Seattle

The Seahawks selected Richman in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 234th overall.

Richman was a stalwart at left tackle for Iowa, as he closed his career with 43 consecutive starts at the position and 52 overall. Despite that experience, he wasn't invited to the combine. Richman will fight for a depth offensive line role in Seattle, though it would be a surprise to see him get much game action in 2025.

  • Seahawks' Damien Martinez: Taken by Seattle in seventh round

The Seahawks selected Martinez in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 223rd overall.

Martinez was the lead back for Miami in 2024 after spending the prior two seasons at Oregon State. He led the Hurricanes with 1,002 yards and 10 touchdowns on 159 carries and added 17 catches for 204 yards across 13 games (10 starts). Martinez runs with authority and will gain yards after contact, but he lacks the burst and elusiveness to make defenders miss in the second level. He'll likely compete with Kenny McIntosh and George Holani for the Seahawks' RB3 job behind Kenneth Walker (ankle) and Zach Charbonnet.

  • Seahawks' Bryce Cabeldue: More offensive line help in Seattle

The Seahawks selected Cabeldue in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 192nd overall.

Cabeldue played tackle at Kansas and has plenty of experience as a four-year starter, but he is projected to kick inside as a pro. He's likely to be a depth option for most of his career, but he is another investment along the Seattle offensive line after the team took Grey Zabel in the first round and with the 18th overall pick.

  • Seahawks' Robbie Ouzts: Grabbed by Seattle in fifth round

The Seahawks selected Ouzts in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 175th overall.

Ouzts spent his four-year college career in Alabama, where he played a variety of roles while primarily serving as a blocker, though he did show some good hands and body control when passes came his way (16 catches on 21 targets for 192 yards and three touchdowns in his career). Ouzts is an old-school, physical player who seeks out contact, which should earn him opportunities on special teams and in jumbo packages as a blocker. He's listed as a tight end, but Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times relays that the Seahawks envision Ouzts more as a fullback at the NFL level.

  • Seahawks' Tory Horton: Seattle adds productive wideout

The Seahawks selected Horton in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 166th overall.

There's always a reason when a player falls further than expected in the draft, but Horton is a player who always produced in college and demonstrated plus NFL speed with a 4.41-second 40-yard dash at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. Horton stood out in a crowded Nevada rotation from 2020-21, at which point he transferred to Colorado State and torched for all of the next three years. Horton is light for his frame and missed the last six games of 2024 due to a knee injury, but if Horton's light frame isn't a problem and if the knee checks out fine then there's nothing obvious to stop Horton from eventually establishing himself as a quality boundary receiver in the NFL.

  • Seahawks' Rylie Mills: Seattle adds Round 5 lineman

The Seahawks selected Mills in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 142nd overall.

Mills (6-foot-5, 291 pounds) might be upright enough that he'd fit better as a 3-4 defensive end than a 4-3 defensive tackle, but wherever he lines up Mills offers some amount of motor and disruptiveness after piling up 20 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks in his three years as starter at Notre Dame. It's possible that the Seahawks see Mills as a rotational player who mostly plays end in three-man fronts and a passing-down specialist defensive tackle in four-man fronts.

  • Seahawks' Jalen Milroe: Seattle swoops in

The Seahawks selected Milroe in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 92nd overall.

This is one of the most intriguing picks of Day 2, if not the entire draft thus far. Milroe is an extremely polarizing prospect. His proponents point to his undeniable tools; Milroe is well-built with a cannon arm and 4.4 speed. His detractors point to erratic accuracy and an inability to put touch on short and intermediate passes. Milroe started for two years at Alabama, completing 65 percent of his passes at 9.4 YPA with 39 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He also ran for 1,257 yards and 32 touchdowns in those seasons. His 'wow' plays are up there with any quarterback in the class. There are moments in which he looks unstoppable, either with the deep ball or as a runner. There are also several concerning starts on his resume, such as the 2024 Oklahoma game, which explain why he was available at this stage. With Sam Darnold under a lucrative contract, the Seahawks can be patient with Milroe's development and see if they can turn him into a future starter.
